Stopped by for lunch after finding their pastries at the nearby Parrish Museum. The bakery has a few tables inside and they serve lunch, they also have a multiple course menu (price fix) for dinner.Tried the sandwich with the tete de moine cheese and I would recommend it.They should work on the service a bit more.I'll definitely come back for dessert!

This multi-faceted approach caters to a wide range of needs, making it a convenient and exciting option for locals. The quality of the food is a recurring theme in customer feedback. The bakery is celebrated for its "fantastic" savory options, a detail that sets it apart from many other bakeries that focus primarily on sweets. The ham and cheese baguette and the caprice (vegetarian) baguette are highlighted as "outstanding," proving that the bakery's expertise extends well beyond pastries. This commitment to savory excellence ensures that it's a great choice for a full meal, not just a dessert stop.
Of course, the sweet offerings are just as impressive. From a custard and Nutella stuffed cruffin—a creative hybrid of a croissant and a muffin—to a decadent slice of chocolate fudge cake, the dessert menu is a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. The bakery also makes an effort to cater to different dietary needs, as evidenced by the high praise for their flourless chocolate cake. This inclusivity ensures that everyone in the family can find something they love, making it an ideal destination for a group outing.
While one review mentioned that the service could be improved, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with customers expressing a strong desire to return for more. The quality of the food and the unique offerings seem to outweigh any minor service issues. For New Yorkers in the Hamptons, Alpina Swiss Bakery is a taste of European charm, offering a unique and memorable culinary experience right in their backyard.
The dedication to fresh ingredients is also a key feature, with the review mentioning "fresh made" green machine juices. This focus on freshness and quality, combined with the versatility of the menu, is what makes Alpina Swiss Bakery a standout establishment. It’s a place that is consistently exceeding expectations, whether you're looking for a quick bite or a special dinner.

Yum. The savory options here are fantastic, not always the case at bakeries. My son and I shared a ham and cheese baguette and my daughter had a caprice (vegetarian) baguette. Both were outstanding. Followed by some sweet pastries: my son loved his custard and Nutella stuffed cruffin (a hybrid croissant / muffin), my daughter is still taking her time over the slice of chocolate fudge cake, and my wife (gluten free), adores her flourless chocolate cake. The green machine juices, fresh made, and the coffee were great too.
Apr 14 · J MFound this lovely bakery while visiting the area. The fact that my heritage is Swiss is what drew my attention. The food was amazing, and they had options that are dairy free. The bürli was quite good, and the läckerli was...delicious (it is literally in the name). Plus, I had a wonderful conversation with the owner. I will definitely make this a priority stop the next time that I am in the area.
Apr 26 · Dean WittwerAlpine Swiss bakery in Watermill, New York. Such a hidden gem of the Hamptons.Must try their pretzel, and the secret recipe of traditional Swiss muesli. My husband and I had a very satisfying three-course fondue dinner there last Saturday. Highly recommend going with a small group of friends. Live DJ and friendly owner there. Feels like a private dining in a Chalet. Love it.Will definitely going back. Remember to purchase tickets ahead on the website. ;)
Jan 13 · GigiIt is just a wondrous place. I was frantically looking for a bakery who makes gluten free vanilla cupcakes with fresh strawberry buttercream for my niece’s birthday with no success. I saw it on the menu from winter and went in and the owner said yes that he would do this for me. You need to give them a few days notice. I picked them up yesterday and they were like heaven on earth, so tasty and moist. They made the bbq a great success . They even have one of the cupcakes in their display case. I will definitely order from them again. I recommend them highly and will spread the word. They were so kind to me and their pastry menu is awesome.Thank youSarah Halsey
