What is Worth Choosing

Alpine Bakery & Pizzeria is absolutely worth choosing because it represents a rare level of quality and versatility in the North Georgia food scene. It’s not simply a bakery or simply a pizzeria; it’s a dedicated purveyor of authentic Italian-American comfort food, excelling in both sweet and savory categories.

For those planning a special event, the cakes are the undisputed star. Whether it's the rich Raspberry Dark Chocolate Torte or the creamy Italian Cream Cake, the quality remains consistently top-notch, as noted by long-time customers who have trusted them for major events like weddings. If you're looking for a signature dessert to impress, the Million Dollar Cake or the highly recommended Strawberry Swiss Roll should be at the top of your list. The Truffles and Cheesecake Bars are also excellent choices for parties, offering bite-sized decadence.

If you're coming for lunch or dinner, the Pizzeria side of the menu is equally compelling. While pizza crust near the center can sometimes be soft (a characteristic of some traditional styles), the crust and edges are consistently described as amazing. The Stromboli is a popular choice for a filling, flavorful option, and the recommendation to order the Cheese Sticks extra crispy is a valuable local tip for maximum enjoyment.

Ultimately, Alpine Bakery & Pizzeria is worth choosing for its sheer ability to satisfy an entire family's diverse cravings in one veteran-owned establishment. Whether you need an award-winning birthday cake, a quick slice of Red Velvet Cheesecake, or a satisfying Meatball Parmigiana Sub, this Alpharetta gem provides scratch-made food that maintains its quality year after year. To save time and ensure you get your desired items, especially during high-traffic times, make sure to utilize their phone and online ordering system.

My buddy recommended coming here and giving it a try so my wife and I did just that. When you walk in it can be a bit confusing at first but grab a number and wait till it is called. If one wants to dine in still grab a number because you have to place your order at the front. Once you place your order, they will give you a number to place on your table. We ordered cheese sticks, cheese pizza and a Stromboli (forgot to take a picture of it). The pizza wasn’t that bad, it is a bit soggy near the tip and middle but the near the crust and the actual crust was amazing. I ordered the cheese sticks extra crispy because my buddy told me when he orders them, at times the cheese is cold which ordering them extra crispy was the right option. We also ordered some deserts which they are not overly sweet and tasted pretty good. The crowds come and go which a lot of people just picked up their orders or placed them to go.Also, they don’t have a fountain drinks so be ready to pay an over priced soda.Overall, we enjoyed our experience and do recommend coming in and trying their food.

The cakes and truffles from Alpine Bakery are top notch as always. I ordered my groom's cakes from here in 2008 and the taste is just as amazing as back then so they're keeping the quality up.We've also used them for desserts got larger parties and the food always goes over well. The strawberry Swiss roll is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. The noise level was overwhelming to me but I was there the evening before Mother's Day so it was a lot busier than normal according to the employee that helped me.Once I got there I saw they do phone and online orders so if you already know what you want I recommend that.

Alpine Bakery did a phenomenal job with our wedding cheesecakes! We did not want traditional wedding cake for our reception and Alpine’s cheesecakes are so delicious – the absolute best! They were very responsive and helpful with all of my questions throughout the planning and ordering process. They beautifully arranged my wedding flowers on the main cake and provided to-go boxes for guests to take home leftovers. I’d highly recommend them for any special occasion. We can’t wait to order more cheesecakes in the future to celebrate our anniversaries!

First time. I had a craving for strawberry cream cheese cup cake. Which they didn’t have anything of that sort beside strawberry mousse cupcake with chocolate drizzle. The Cheese cake was about $12 very fresh. Nice portion. When I entered into the shop the ppl that worked there were very friendly and helpful once I told them that it was my first time. They also have a wide variety of food as well.

We Order from here all the time and usually is great. We ordered a pepperoni cheese pizza. Once we started to eat our pizza we noticed it tastes like fish. We pulled the cheese back and found fish. We didn’t order fish. My girlfriend is also allergic to fish. Won’t ever order pizza from Alpine again. Called and complained we received a $20 gift card :(
