Their baked goods are presented well in the displays. Even though some cakes are already cut, you can't easily see the cross section of the cakes in the display case. Did notice that some cakes, especially the taller/bigger ones were few layers of cake with thick layers of frosting in-between; frosting layers were about the same thickness as each layer of cake. The one I tasted didn't have lots of frosting in-between the layers, which was very good. Although the cake was delicious, it's somewhat pricey (at ~$10) for a thinner slice of cake. Service was good with many attentive staff behind the counter.
Apr 12 · GBought a slice of strawberry Swiss roll today. Very disappointed. The sponge cake tastes soggy. The strawberry bits inside are dark colored and mushy. Whipped cream topping does not taste fresh at all. It feels like the cake has been days old. Had to throw the whole thing away after 2 bites. The first photo is what we have. The second photo is from Alpine Bakery’s website. Quite a difference!

Mar 8 · EA SCake was beautiful and delicious. I got red velvet, not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea but I loved it! It’s more subtle than that classic red velvet, and I prefer that. Pricey, $140 for this 10 inch round cake. I recommend getting smaller if not everyone is going to eat. It will be moist, so don’t worry about that. I added the butterflies and “just engaged” myself and just asked for a plain lavendar cake outside.
