However, it is important for local residents to be aware of certain aspects based on recent customer experiences, as shared in reviews. Some customers have reported instances of the register being closed during advertised hours due to "random updates" or a lack of staff present, which can lead to disappointment, especially when making a special trip. Another point raised by customers is regarding pricing consistency and payment methods, with reports of varying prices and cash-only transactions without receipts, leading to potential confusion. There have also been instances where customers found the pretzels to be stale or chewy, which deviates from the fresh, soft quality Auntie Anne's is known for.

Given these experiences, locals considering a visit might want to keep in mind that while the convenience and brand familiarity are present, it may be beneficial to manage expectations regarding service consistency and product freshness. It might be prudent to visit during peak operating hours when the likelihood of freshly baked products and full staff presence is higher. For those who appreciate the classic Auntie Anne's pretzel and are prepared for potential variations in service, this location offers a readily available option for a quick snack in Temple, PA. It remains a spot where, if you catch it at the right time, you can enjoy that familiar pretzel comfort food.

I have been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks between 4 - 6pm. Each time the register was closed for “random updates". One of the times there wasn’t even anyone behind the counter. The one time I went there and it was open I was charged $5 for a stale chewy pretzel and honey mustard dipping cup before. After that I’m not sure if I want to even try this store again.

Charged $4.00 for Pretzel & $4.00 for soda. I said how much? He said everything is $4.00. Wow no Receipt at all and cash only. Every time I go there to different price.

We visited Auntie Anne's today with the intention of serving a party of ten people. and were greeted by a very rude manager that told me she refused to take my order as she had just restocked the shelves and was not doing all that work again. seems she should consider another career path.
