47% Mini Milk Chocolate Bar (28g). Inspired by Asian Fusion cuisine, we take crunchy, toasted edamame and merge it with a creamy high percentage cacao (47%) milk chocolate and fine sea salt. The result is a perfect balance of sweet and savory tasting notes with a nutty texture. The cacao origin is Rupa-Rupa, Upper Amazon region of Peru. The beans are fermented 7 days, dried 7 days with a medium roast.

Milk Chocolate Bar (85g). East Alstead Roasting Co. has collaborated with Jouvay Chocolate in Walpole, NH, to create two chocolate bars accented with our coffee. The current batches use our Kibingo Oro dry natural process coffee from Burundi. Look for other editions in the future! This chocolate, as with all Jouvay chocolate, was made at the Diamond Chocolate Factory in Grenada, West Indies. Jouvay is a partnership between the cocoa farmers of Grenada (represented by the Grenada Cocoa Association) and the Burdick family of Walpole, NH. The GCA is a farmer-elected cooperative that has long represented farmer interests, giving them tools and knowledge for farming and negotiating the best price for their beans internationally.

13 oz Jar. La Trinquelinette Wild Blackberry Jams are small-batch jams are made with more fruit and less sugar and have been that way since Bernard Berilley founded the company in 1978. His secret? Fruits that are neither too ripe nor too acid, cooked for only 5 minutes, to preserve the taste of the fruit and to avoid the concentration of sugar. Deeply dark in color with a a sweet tart flavor. La Trinquelinette Wild Blackberry Jam pairs perfectly on a delicious piece of fresh bread, but also on scones and waffles.

13 oz Jar. Founded by Bernard Berrilley, La Trinquelinette has been delighting lovers of quality jams since 1982. Céline Dubreuil has been established in the Morvan for more than 15 years and she took over the company in 2018 with Bernard's experience and know-how. Céline also develops new recipes. It is at the gates of the Morvan natural park, in the heart of the rolling hills that La Trinquelinette has set up its workshop.

With so many varieties offered at the farmers markets from the Patterson to the Blenheim to the Brittany Gold, we love to work with them and bring out their delicious sweet and tart notes so that you feel as if you were spreading fruit right out of the jar. Our delicious jam starts with apricots from the Fresno Valley. To the mix, we add pure cane sugar, a little citrus pectin for added gelling and a generous splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice for a little zing to the flavor in this magically intoxicating combination.

7.75 oz Jar. Good Food Awards Finalist 2024. The Oscar Mulberry is a more recent cousin that can be eaten when red and tastes like a raspberry or eaten at fully ripe when tasting like the fleeting taste of summer." It has been documented back to the mid-1500’s in which a Spanish Conquistador Hernando de Soto noted that the Muscogee peoples of the Southeast United States would eat the fruit dried and that they would mix the berries into cornbread, use them for dyes, or use the branches as bows. Origins: Our friend Holly is a brilliant florist who builds many of her arrangements directly from her farm in Ojai. The farm also contains established Oscar mulberries which we patiently await every year in order to make this brilliant and rare jam. Such a decadent ruby fruit preserved at its finest moment. Notes: Juicy, balanced acid + sweetness, delightful.

7.75 oz Jar. We called Al from Frog Hollow to see how we could get his famous Warren Pears - and ultimately we got him to send 2000 pounds to us plus his quince harvest! The Warren pear tree was named for Thomas O. Warren, a founding father of the North American Fruit Explorers (NAFEX), who discovered this gem in Mississippi, in 1976. The Warren pears are sweet, spicy and very juicy, buttery, silky flesh with no grit. They are perfect for preserves as the texture is like non-other. A seasonal favorite for charcuterie boards, pork dinners, or for a breakfast treat.

7.75 oz Jar. What a wonderful, bright yet purpled, plump cherry. Brooks cherries were developed by Paul E. Hansche at UC Davis in 1969. They are a cross between rainier and burlat cherries. Seen as an improvement to the bing, they offer a sweet-tart flavor with hints of blackberry.
