We placed a large order with Boichik bagels for a post-wedding brunch in August. The process was really easy, and the bagels were a huge hit. It’s possible we under ordered cream cheese, so definitely consider how much spread your guests might use. The wedding hotel was also close to Boichik, and many of our guests (and us) ate their bagels for breakfast in the days before (and of) the wedding, and no one could get enough of them! We would highly recommend Boichik for large and small orders! We are so glad to have such a great bagel spot in SF with an amazing group of people working there.

This celebrated bagel shop is renowned for delivering an authentic, high-quality New York-style bagel experience right to the heart of California. Quite possibly the best place to get a bagel in San Francisco. The bagels were real tasty, they had a very good toast flavor and aroma to them. And of course only pink label cream cheese. Deliciously whipped. The bagels are moderately priced and a generous portion. Just get there early they tend to sellout.Dos bagels up 🥯 🥯
Nov 4 · Mario Dos CampolloProbably the most expensive bagel I’ve ever had – and unfortunately, not worth it.I ordered a pumpernickel bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato, and capers. I asked for it toasted, but it came untoasted, and the bread itself was pretty stale. The lox was fresh and tasty, but overall the sandwich didn’t feel like a $17+ bagel. With tip, it ended up being nearly $20 – which is just insane for what I got.No napkin included by default, and the bread texture was really disappointing. Sadly, not a place I’d return to or recommend unless you’re ready to seriously overpay.
Mar 24 · Elena SkuratToasted onion bagel, lox shmear, cucumbers and red onions for $8.25, which is exactly what I expected to pay.The surprise was when I asked for the bagel to be cut in four pieces, and the cashier said, “well, that’s up to them,” gesturing toward the line cooks. I asked, “Excuse me? I don’t understand. What do you mean?” He said, “well, it depends whether they want to, or not. If they’re super busy, we can’t accept these kinds of requests.”Well, I can see that they were not busy. At 11am, there were 5 employees and only 3 customers at the time. Anyhow, they cut the bagel in four pieces for me, but how much effort does it require to make one additional cut, and why would the cashier say that to me when the place was not even busy? The bagel itself is OK. Nothing extraordinary, but the service left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Feb 21 · Barry LouieSimply meh. Why is it that with all the displaced New Yorkers out there the city can't come up with a decent bagel, lox, cream cheese? It didn't help that I asked for a toasted bagel, & instead got an untoasted squishy round bread thing, although I did like the Everything seasoning.Onion sliced so thin you can't taste them, skimpy lox, no flavor profile. Lots of cream cheese though.Went early on a Saturday, line went pretty fast.Simply meh.
