About and visit notes

Welcome, Brooklynites and visitors alike, to a deep dive into one of Flatbush Avenue's sweetest destinations: Cinnabon. When that undeniable craving for a warm, gooey cinnamon roll hits, this spot is a go-to for many. Cinnabon, a globally recognized name, has carved out a special place in the hearts (and stomachs) of locals with its iconic, freshly baked treats. This isn't just any bakery; it's a place dedicated to the art of the cinnamon roll, offering a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The aroma alone is enough to draw you in, promising a comforting and indulgent experience.

The brand's success is built on a simple yet powerful formula: high-quality ingredients, a secret-recipe dough, and a signature Makara cinnamon from Indonesia. Each Cinnabon roll is handcrafted and baked to perfection, then generously slathered with their famous cream cheese frosting. Beyond the classic rolls, the menu has expanded over the years to include a variety of other tempting baked goods and refreshing beverages. This particular location in Brooklyn serves as a convenient and quick stop for anyone in the area looking for a little pick-me-up. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-timer, this overview will give you all the information you need to make the most of your visit to Cinnabon on Flatbush Avenue. From what to expect on the menu to the best way to get there, we've got you covered.

It's important to set expectations, especially for first-time visitors. While the quality of the food and drinks is often praised, with customers noting the tasty and hot offerings, some aspects of the service and atmosphere can be a bit chaotic due to its popularity. This is a grab-and-go spot, not a place to sit down and relax. The bustling nature of the shop means quick service is a priority, but it can sometimes feel crowded. The shop's small size, combined with the constant flow of customers and delivery drivers, can make for a tight squeeze, especially during peak hours. Despite these challenges, the consistent quality of their baked goods keeps people coming back.

The Cinnabon bakery is conveniently located at 1570 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11210, USA. This prime location places it right in the middle of a vibrant, bustling commercial corridor. Flatbush Avenue is a major thoroughfare, making the bakery easily accessible for both pedestrians and those using public transportation. For those traveling by subway, the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College station (served by the 2 and 5 lines) is just a short walk away. This makes it an ideal stop for commuters heading to or from the train. Several bus lines also run along Flatbush Avenue, offering additional public transit options.

Given the shop's busy location, street parking can be challenging, so it’s often recommended to use public transport or walk if you are in the area. The neighborhood itself is dynamic and full of life, with a mix of residential buildings, retail shops, and other eateries. This integration into the local community makes Cinnabon a familiar and convenient spot for residents. The visibility and high foot traffic on Flatbush Avenue ensure that it's a well-known local landmark for anyone craving a sweet treat. Its accessibility is a key factor in its popularity, as it caters to a wide range of people, from students at nearby Brooklyn College to families and professionals in the surrounding neighborhoods.

The bakery's physical setup is designed for efficiency and speed. It is a walk-up, non-eat-in establishment. This means you order and receive your items at the counter to take with you. This setup, while fast, can lead to a crowded atmosphere, as multiple people wait for their orders in a small space. Delivery drivers often frequent the shop, which can add to the congestion at the entrance. Despite the compact size, the flow is generally managed to ensure quick turnover, so you won't be waiting long for your order. This focus on speed and efficiency is a hallmark of this Cinnabon location, catering to the fast-paced New York lifestyle.

The food and drinks are tasty. The food is always hot . The presentation is always good, too. They have a variety of snacks and drinks to choose from. Quick service here as well.

Food - It was alright. I wish they had the Oreo Chillatta at this location but apparently they didn't. Not sure why. The prices were honestly awful. $12 for a small drink and 2 little cookies is wild. Be warned.Service - It was really hard to understand these guys. They spoke so quietly and unclearly. They kept alternating between me and other people instead of just finishing the current person's order. I didn't know if they were addressing me or someone else half the time. Somehow the credit card machine always needs you to pay twice.. feels like a scam but I get it could just be a broken machine. If it's broken get a new one..Atmosphere - It is not an eat-in shop which is fine but it's very crowded and chaotic, the cashier deals with too many people at once. There was some delivery guy just blocking the door which is really annoying, they should tell people not to stand there. I asked him to move and there was still not enough space, the shop is just too small.

Food is great but service is horrible they will literally be a line and all the workers will just stand there looking at you not wanting to do any work letting the line of customer get longer and longer. get people that actually want to work not family members who know they don't have to do shit but show up

They do not use gloves…in any other stores that practices clean and hygienic rules they ALWAYS USE gloves. And I saw one the workers sneezed in their hands and did nothing about it.

Cinnabon on a whole is awesome but I went a couple times to this location and ALL the workers were all wearing mask below their chins making the pretzels! On top of that they were talking non stop! I was really uncomfortable with that. They need to do better and also try to keep it a bit cleaner.
