About and visit notes

In a city known for its diverse and often hyper-local food scene, there are some treats that offer a taste of familiar comfort, a sweet and undeniable indulgence. Cinnabon is a name that immediately brings to mind the irresistible aroma of warm cinnamon, baked dough, and rich, creamy frosting. For New Yorkers in Brooklyn, there's a specific location on 5th Avenue that brings this classic experience to the heart of the borough. This Cinnabon is more than just a chain outpost; it's a dedicated spot for locals to find their favorite sweet treats, whether it's a warm Classic Roll, a decadent dessert, or even a Carvel ice cream cake.

This particular Cinnabon location holds a special place for many residents, serving as a sweet escape from the daily grind. It's a destination where the promise of a warm, gooey cinnamon roll covered in their signature cream cheese frosting is always within reach. The bakery understands that for many, a Cinnabon isn't just a snack—it's a moment of pure happiness and comfort. The menu goes beyond the classic cinnamon roll, offering a variety of sizes and forms, from the bite-sized BonBites to the Center of the Roll, ensuring there's a perfect treat for every level of craving.

The local experience at this Cinnabon is notable for its unique atmosphere and its integration of another beloved brand: Carvel. This combination means that patrons can satisfy two types of dessert cravings in one stop, a convenience that many locals appreciate. The availability of Carvel ice cream cakes and other frozen treats makes this location a go-to for impromptu celebrations or for simply grabbing a treat on a hot day. The bright and inviting interior, complete with seating and a distinctive wallpaper, has been mentioned by customers as a pleasant surprise, making it a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your dessert rather than just grabbing and going.

While a single visit can be a delightful experience, the quality of the Cinnabon experience can sometimes vary, as is the case with many fast-paced establishments. Some customers have raved about the freshness and the pleasantness of their visit, while others have expressed disappointment with the quality of their orders, particularly with delivery. This highlights the importance of the staff's training and attention to detail, which can make or break the customer experience. However, when the bakery is at its best, it truly provides a delicious and comforting treat that lives up to the Cinnabon name. This location is a sweet fixture in the neighborhood, offering a familiar comfort that resonates with many.

WELL.. I ordered at 9:30 and my order came at 11:30 and live like 3 blocks away. The Cinnabons were HARD and the frosting wasn’t melted at all just smeared on. The frosting was also all over the packaging and all over the bag it came in so very messy to take out. And they forgot the extra frosting cup I paid for. Probably the worst Cinnabon and cinnamon roll I ever ate. Why even bother opening this location if you can’t train your staff to do the absolute bare minimum. In person experience isn’t much better either. Just close this location and start over.
