What an unexpected pleasure. We stopped here on a recent Sunday afternoon drive through Corsicana. Online directions stated a deli counter was open — that’s all we needed to hear. My mom grew up in nearby Henderson County and was always talking about the “famous” fruitcakes made here. Parking was a breeze. Short line inside to order — with a line that strategically meandered by shelves of yummy baked goods & breads. We bought some cookies & bread in addition to our three sandwich combos. I absolutely loved my turkey sandwich on bacon cheese bread - fresh, filling and tasty. What a great experience! You can sample all the fruit cakes. They have so many varieties. There is also a small deli that serves sandwiches and salads , soda . The coffee is delicious. Restrooms available.
