Great packaging. Gave this place a try and really was not impressed with the taste. The cookies were very sweet for my taste buds. Because it was not warmed it was tough. Purple drank was also sugary but as I said before very great design and catchy. Only one cookie probably it'll be the apple pie, that I liked best.

For those of us in Pennsylvania with a penchant for unique and indulgent baked goods, the search for a distinctive treat can often lead to exciting discoveries. In Allentown, Cookie Plug presents itself as an establishment focused squarely on the art of the cookie, but with a unique twist on presentation and branding. This isn't your grandma's cookie shop; Cookie Plug aims to offer "fat and thicc" cookies that are described as "part cake, part brownie, and of course, part cookie all rolled into one." As your local content writer, I’m here to give you a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Cookie Plug, helping you, the local Pennsylvania user, understand what this bakery brings to the Lehigh Valley's dessert scene.
Cookie Plug stands out with its bold aesthetic and a menu that promises a different kind of cookie experience. While some patrons have noted concerns about the cookies not always being warm, or being overly sweet for their taste, the concept revolves around substantial, creatively flavored cookies. Their range includes flavors like "OG" (Chocolate Chip), "Cookie Cookie Cream" (Cookies and Cream), "Firecracker" (Smores), "Pink Elephant" (Strawberry Cheesecake), and "Purple Haze" (Purple Cookie with White Chocolate Chips), among many others. They even offer specialized options like "Keto" cookies for those with dietary preferences, and "Dubai Chocolate Cookie" with pistachio and kataifi filling, showcasing a diverse and adventurous approach to cookie making.
The experience at Cookie Plug extends beyond just the product. Their marketing and packaging are designed to be "very great design and catchy," aiming for a modern and distinct vibe. While the "Purple Drank" beverage, though sugary, also received compliments for its design, it suggests a complete branded experience beyond just the cookies themselves. For locals in Pennsylvania looking for a dessert shop that offers something different from the traditional bakery, Cookie Plug's focus on oversized, uniquely textured cookies and a specific brand identity could be an intriguing option to explore. Understanding both the creative vision and the direct customer feedback provides a comprehensive picture for potential visitors in the Allentown area.

I placed an online order, and unfortunately, they didn't have it ready at pick up. The service was quick to resolve the confusion. The cookies were sitting on a rack and weren't warm when packed up. Pricing is a bit steep for not super fresh cookies. The purple drank was very sweet paired with the cookies. Not sure if I'd be back, honestly. Packaging was cute, though.
May 11 · SamanthaWe had the *best* experience! The service was amazing from the moment we arrived. My cookies were warm and gooey, just perfect. They also have a rewards program, which is awesome! We will definitely be going back for more soon!
Feb 16 · Jackie WellenerWow, I am glad this place is an hour and a half away because I'd be here every day and I'd be as big as a house. I've paid $5 for cookies before and they were not worth the $5 I paid. As least these ones are really good, maybe not worth $5, but still really tasty, especially when they are warm out of the oven or if you take them home, 10 seconds in the microwave.
