The donuts are really good, but not amazing. They definitely seem overpriced. I will try them again to see if second experience leaves me with a different impression. They are enjoyable and a welcome alternative to a traditional donut, if you’re looking for something a little different.

Features / Highlights
The primary appeal of DOMO Mochi Donut and Corn Dog lies in its trend-forward menu and the quality of its specialized offerings, which are highly sought after in the competitive Southern California market.
- Signature Mochi Donuts: These are the star of the sweet menu. The donuts stand out from traditional varieties due to the use of rice flour, which gives them a distinctive, enjoyable chewy texture (a characteristic highly praised by local reviewers). Available in counts of 3, 6, and 12, they are perfect for both individual treats and party platters. Local customers appreciate the rotating flavors like Churro Ube and Taro.
- Authentic Korean Corn Dogs: The savory side is equally compelling. The extensive corn dog menu offers unique fusions, with standout flavor combinations like Hot Cheetos Mozzarella, Buldak Original (offering a spicy kick), and the classic Potato Mozzarella. The ability to get a Half & Half (sausage and cheese) option is a major highlight, catering to those who want a blend of savory and rich flavors.
- Specialty Bubble Tea Menu: DOMO offers an expansive array of refreshing Boba Milk Teas and fruit lemonades. Creative options like Strawberry Cloud, UBE, and Matcha Brown Sugar ensure there is a perfect pairing for every donut or corn dog choice. They also offer classic coffee and tea options.
- Ideal for Dessert and Quick Visits: Classified as both a dessert destination and a spot for a quick visit, DOMO is perfect for satisfying that immediate craving. The casual atmosphere makes it a great, low-key spot to socialize or simply grab and go.
- Support for a Local Small Business: Patrons are supporting a local small business in the Northridge community, which is a major point of pride and preference for many California shoppers.
What is Worth Choosing
For a local resident in the San Fernando Valley looking for a memorable and satisfying food experience, what is truly worth choosing at DOMO Mochi Donut and Corn Dog is the signature combination of the Mochi Donut and the Korean Corn Dog. This blend of sweet and savory is what defines the establishment and sets it apart in the local dining scene.
We recommend leaning into the unique textural experience: start with a savory, cheesy Hot Cheetos Mozzarella Corn Dog for a spicy, crunchy, and filling meal. Then, follow it up with a 3-piece order of Mochi Donuts, perhaps one of the distinct flavors like Ube or Taro, to enjoy the acclaimed chewy, less-traditional donut texture. Pair your meal and dessert with a refreshing BROWN SUGAR Boba Milk Tea to complete the modern street food experience.
This combination highlights the best of what DOMO offers—trendy, high-quality international street food made accessible and convenient for the California community. The option for delivery, easy parking, and quick service only further enhances the value, making it a top choice for a fun, casual indulgence in Northridge.

Nov 27 · Michele LeocadioI stopped by here to get some mochinut for my brother birthday. I placed the order online through toast and got their dozen box option. It said it would be ready for pickup in about 15 minutes. I got a call from a number that was similar to this place number but the last 4 digits didn't match the email so I wasn't sure if I should pick up. They called twice so I figured I would call the number in the email and it was in fact the store to confirm if I just wanted 1 of each flavor or particular flavor since the website didn't give me the option. I said 1 of each was fine. I found parking easily in the plaza this place is in and walked inside to get my order. They asked that I confirm my order number and then handed me the box. The mochinut was popular with my brother kids basketball team that he's coaching.
Oct 12 · Peter XaymountryIt was my first time having a mochi donut, I absolutely love the taste, texture and flavor of the donuts, a bit overpriced for them but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good donuts.
