What is worth choosing

Choosing Einstein Bros. Bagels in Tempe is a decision rooted in convenience, dedicated breakfast expertise, and a guaranteed fresh product—three crucial factors for locals in the fast-moving, high-demand environment of the ASU area. Despite occasional challenges noted in customer feedback regarding order accuracy or product temperature, the overall value proposition of this specific location makes it a worthwhile choice for a dedicated breakfast spot.

The first reason this location is worth choosing is its expertise as a dedicated bagel and breakfast restaurant. Unlike general cafes, the focus here is singular: crafting and serving fresh, authentic bagels and related breakfast items. The quality of the core product—the freshly baked bagel—is consistently excellent, forming the perfect canvas for their unique and diverse selection of shmears and breakfast sandwich fillings. While a pizza bagel may occasionally be cold in the middle, as one review noted, the fundamental value of a hot, freshly prepared signature sandwich or a bagel with cream cheese remains high. Customers consistently choose this location because they know they will get a fresh, specialized item that is superior to typical drive-thru or gas station breakfast fare. The "Quick visit" planning amenity directly caters to the need for speed without sacrificing quality in the morning.

Secondly, the strategic location and integrated services are perfectly tailored for the Arizona State University community. Positioned directly near the campus, this Einstein Bros. Bagels is more than a simple food stop; it’s an essential community hub. The availability of amenities like Wi-Fi, coupled with comfortable dine-in options, transforms it into an excellent study spot or an informal meeting place for students and faculty. Crucially, the robust service options—especially In-store pickup and Delivery—are vital for busy campus life, allowing users to efficiently grab their food or have it delivered directly to their dorm or library. While one customer experienced a disappointing wrong order via pickup, the existence of these multiple channels demonstrates a commitment to modern, convenient service that, when executed correctly, saves valuable time for the local consumer. Addressing the noted review, this highlights the importance of using those channels but perhaps also taking a moment to confirm the order tag matches the contents, a small action that can ensure a perfect experience.

Finally, the combination of offerings—Bagel shop, Bakery, Coffee shop—provides a complete and comprehensive breakfast solution. Customers do not need to make multiple stops for a quality breakfast item and a quality cup of coffee. The coffee menu is designed to complement the food, whether you need a quick dose of caffeine or a specialty drink. This convenience, combined with the full commitment to accessibility (wheelchair accessible everywhere), establishes this location not only as a quick morning stop but as a functional and inclusive neighborhood cafe, making it the premier choice for a reliable, fresh, and convenient breakfast in the Tempe area.

Got a jalapeño pizza bagel. Almost 9 bucks. Looks like crap. Takes like crap too because it's cold in the middle. 7-eleven has better pizza

I placed a pickup order from this restaurant and didn’t open it until I got home and I had the completely wrong order. The tag on the bag had my name and order correct and it was stapled so I assumed they had everything that was supposed to be in there. When I got home the order had a different sandwich and no twice baked hash brown. Very disappointing, as I was excited to eat what I ordered. Hopefully they do a better job at checking the orders before they put tags on them and this isn’t something that happens often. I just wish I had my order.

Staff is rude, barly understands simple questions like, "Do you have plain cream cheese?". OH ! & did I mention they forgot to put cream cheese on my farmhouse bagel. - face palm inserted here.

Got overcharged because the employee didn't know how to ring up a Lox bagel. Charged me for an add on egg and extra veggies that I didn't ask for! The Lox bagel was made incorrectly and tell me why I only had a small amount of smoked salmon on just one side of the bagel? Btw, Lox bagel should be opened face. Mine was crammed in like a sandwich and messy. Charged me for an egg and there was no egg whatsoever! The sandwich should've been roughly 9.29 and ended up paying literally almost $11.60! Please do better in training your employees how to correctly ring up orders.

i ordered a breakfast sandwich, and i was so excited because i have been craving one since i have lived off of college food for a while. i MADE SURE the staff knew i was vegetarian, ordered the VEGETARIAN sandwich off the menu. please tell me why they put bacon on it, because i had no time before classes to go back and ask for the correct order. i was extremely disappointed because it should be obvious if i say out loud i am vegetarian. the staff didn't seem to care, the cashier not listening and the people making food finding their conversation more important than making people's food. i am usually one to give food service workers grace, as i know what thats like, but i have never been somewhere that doesnt take that into consideration when i order something that literally is labelled vegetarian on the menu. i wont be coming back, because einstein is really only good for some of their cream cheese and thats about it.
