We were craving dessert after our early dinner of spicy fried chicken. This was in the same plaza so we walked across to it. We got the Cappuccino Mousse Slice, Chocolate-Chocolate Slice, and New York Cheesecake Slice. The Cakes were ok, not too sweet. The chocolate-chocolate cake was underwhelming for a chocoholic like me. Good, but not what I was looking for. The New York cheesecake was more like a Japanese cheesecake. The cappuccino mousse slice was the best choice among three. Service was perfunctory. The cafe side of the store was closed. The bakery side was clean. Parking is shared in this plaza but it was adequate. There’s underground parking too.

Aug 21 · Vee DinhI tried this location thinking it was going to be as good as the other location. However we were met with a VERY RUDE older woman. She literally threw our desserts in the box and kept tossing boxes. Kept giving us dirty looks throughout the whole store. We made sure to be in and out. Kept scoffing when we placed the order and rolling her eyes. Very very disappointed. To top it off every single pastries we got was terrible in taste. We got 10 different treats. We decided to throw it away. Must be the bad energy they carry going into the food. Unacceptable, close the whole building down..
Jun 12 · Primrose VioletI love this little bakery and cafe combo! Whether I'm in the mood for some fresh baked cheesy hotdog bread, a classic style Taiwanese breakfast sandwich (even cut in a cute little triangle to remind me of when I'm visiting Taiwan), classic Taiwanese breakfast like, Danbing or Fantuan paired with hot (or cold) soy milk (or milk tea, which is particularly fantastic), JJ cafe and bakery always hits the spots.I've been coming here for bread, pastries, and a quick breakfast for years and only recently started trying their bento box options for lunch. They are premade, and there IS some variety daily. My go to of late has been the pork with rice!If you're aiming to dine in, there is plenty of seating available, but I have seen it get quite busy! Atmosphere is friendly, and at times when I can't recall how to say something in Mandarin, they are always trying to help decipher what I'm attempting to order.Highly recommend this local bakery and cafe!
