Introduction / Overview: Plant-Based Perfection, All Day

Just What I Kneaded operates with a rare and valuable identity in the Los Angeles dining scene: it is a 100% plant-based establishment that caters to all dining options—breakfast, lunch, and casual dining—making it accessible to vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. The menu is a testament to culinary ingenuity, proving that comfort food favorites can be created entirely without animal products.

The service model is highly flexible, designed to integrate seamlessly into the Angeleno lifestyle. Customers have the choice of Delivery, Takeout, Onsite services, and comfortable Dine-in. The dining options are extensive, covering Breakfast served all day (8 AM–3 PM) and a hearty Lunch Menu (11 AM–3 PM). This is a destination for the early bird needing a high-quality Hot Drip Coffee and a Savory Hand Pie, the lunch crowd craving a Cheeseburger And Fries, or the weekend bruncher indulging in a Mimosa and the famous Buttermilk Pancakes. Beyond the food, the cafe offers desirable amenities, including a Gender-neutral restroom and Wi-Fi, reinforcing its position as an inclusive, comfortable, and modern LA cafe. While the price point of some specialty items reflects the premium ingredients and high craft (GF biscuit sandwich for almost $20), the quality, like the "herbaceous flavor of the gf dough," is generally recognized.

Hands down my favorite vegan café in LA. The pancakes are the best pancakes I have ever tried and I have all over the world. I don’t know how the chef does it but hats off to him or her. The staff are so pleasant and kind and the atmosphere is very chill And relaxed. It is an inclusive and open space. The breakfast wrap is also to die for so glad that we came here all the way from Vancouver BC and looking forward to coming here again another time!

Cute atmosphere. The Gf biscuit sandwich for almost $20 is too dry. The herbaceous flavor of the gf dough is great-but it’s really dense and there’s not much else going on to make up for the price. That said, I’m interested in coming back for baked goods.

Honestly, I hate writing this because I always want to support veg establishments, but this burrito was just one of the worst things I’ve had in a long time. So extremely dry and bland. I specifically requested no avocados and lo and behold, avocados. I’m allergic so this is not great for me. On top of that, for a $19 burrito to just be two frozen just egg patties and un melted slices of cheese… do better. I took one bite and threw the rest away. I tried to contact the restaurant but their line automatically goes to a full mailbox.

I honestly found this place from a Reddit review and I am in no way disappointed! We decided this would be our last stop on our way back home and now I’m so sad that I won’t be able to look at my local vegan breakfast burrito the same way. I ate the entire thing even though I breached full halfway through - I just couldn’t fathom wasting it!I absolutely got a cinnamon roll to go. I’m not passing up that opportunity either! The staff and atmosphere were 10/10! Such incredible personalities that fit with the vibe. I felt right at home with the staff and the patrons of the restaurant.I am so glad I was directed here, this made the trip to LA so worth it!

My absolute favorite bakery! Everything they sell is delicious, especially the biscuit sandwiches. I bought one of their cakes for a friend's birthday and it was absolutely beautiful and everyone loved it! Nobody knew it was vegan. I tell everyone to go here, vegan or not. Their new remodel has made the outdoor area a super enjoyable place to hang out as well.
