I dream about the taro buns here! Everything I’ve had is delicious. I also frequently get the pineapple buns, coconut, red bean. They are incredibly generous with the filling, which I haven’t found to be the case in other bakeries nearby.

I love asian pastries and decided to stop by while out and about. So happy I did! I think they may be renovating? Either way, I'll definitely be back (hopefully earlier in the day) to try more pastries. They're affordable and fresh.
Aug 22 · Lauren RNot the best buns. Actually tastes a bit weird compared to other places in chinatown. The pricing on the signs stating what type of buns they are might be wrong or the cashier doesn't know how to count (I'm going to go with the former). I was overcharged for the two buns seen in the picture. They were suppose to be 1.25 and 1.00 respectively but I was charged 2.75. That being said pricing for certain buns are better at other places and actually taste better. However I do recommend the coconut pineapple bun and I regret not getting that today.
Feb 3 · Ames SActually 4.5 though it's really good and authentic. All the Hong Kong/Cantonese classics done well and fresh every morning including the bbq pork bun, cocktail bun, pineapple bun, and custard tart. The exception was the sesame ball that appeared good size but was mostly dough when more sweet bean paste filling is expected.
Apr 15 · Alan M.There are several bakeries on this street, KC being one of them. Their standout buns are their Pineapple/Coconut bun and Custard bun. Both are freshly baked and taste awesome. Owner is friendly, and can communicate in English and Mandarin. If you call ahead, they can take orders as they tend to be busy around mid day. They can do custom bakery if you call ahead of time. Besides cash, I think they also accept Venmo or Zelle as form of payment.
