Situated in a convenient spot, this bagel shop offers a range of breakfast and lunch options designed to cater to the fast-paced lives of those in the New York metropolitan area.

Long Island Bagel Cafe understands the importance of a reliable and accessible spot for freshly baked bagels and complementary items. Their menu is typically geared towards providing familiar favorites, from classic bagels with various cream cheese spreads to more substantial breakfast sandwiches. The focus is on providing a quick and efficient service to get customers on their way, whether they're heading to work, running errands, or simply looking for a convenient meal.

While the experience at any local eatery can vary, Long Island Bagel Cafe serves as a consistent presence in the Nesconset community, offering the foundational elements of a traditional New York bagel shop. Long Island Bagel Cafe is conveniently located at 248 Smithtown Blvd #9, Nesconset, NY 11767, USA. Nesconset is a well-known hamlet and census-designated place within Suffolk County, Long Island, making this location accessible to a broad segment of residents across the New York region. Smithtown Boulevard is a significant thoroughfare, ensuring that the bagel shop benefits from a steady flow of local traffic and is easy to find for both daily commuters and those making a special trip.

The position within Nesconset means it is nestled in an area with established local infrastructure and residential communities. For those traveling by car, the presence of a unit number (#9) suggests it is part of a larger plaza or commercial strip, which typically provides ample parking, a significant convenience for customers in a busy area like Long Island. This ease of parking is a key factor for many New Yorkers who rely on their vehicles for daily errands and commutes.

Its proximity to major roads and its location in a central part of Nesconset make it a practical stop for locals on their way to work, school, or other activities. For many, a short drive or a ride-share might be the preferred method of access given the typical reliance on personal vehicles in suburban Long Island. The convenience of its location, particularly for those commuting via the LIRR (as suggested by a customer review), is a definite advantage, positioning it as a go-to spot for those seeking efficiency in their morning routine.

They are very rude. I wanted an egg hero. Didn’t give me what i wanted. The manager came over to talk to me and the manager was even rude. never go there ever again. I wanted two eggs on a hero, but the hero came with three eggs so they weren’t even going to make me two eggs on a hero and plus I wanted turkey bacon instead of regular bacon, but they wouldn’t give me that either. They were complaining about that. Now wouldn’t you give your customers what they want to make your customer satisfied but no, they had to make a big stink about it. I would never recommend this place to anybody bad customer service.

With so many choices, I will never again spend one dollar in this place, even though it is the most convenient on my way to the LIRR. I stopped to purchase 2 dozen bagels, cream cheese, and butter--a $63 purchase for a work meeting. There was no greeting, but I was asked if I could be helped. The only other words exchanged were, "would you like a receipt?" I answered, "yes, please." My two bags were not closed or gathered or even slightly slid nearer to me so I could take them. The receipt was still in the machine. I asked, with 2 full bags in my hand, "oh, is that my receipt?" And I was told, "yes , that's yours," WITH NO EFFORT TO EVEN TEAR IT OFF, OR HAND IT TO ME WITH MY 60 PLUS DOLLAR PURCHASE! So, putting one bag aside, I tore off my own receipt and left with no other words, not even "thank you". Going forward, leaving a few minutes earlier to get bagels a little further off my route is definitely the plan. You suck, LIBC Nesconset. It wouldn't kill you to be a little more courteous and offer service that is a little more friendly.

So much more than just a bagel place though the bagels are top notch. My wife loves the build your own chopped salad bar and They have a ton of cold and hot hero’s. I got the Manhattan with a ton of roast beef, grilled onions, bacon and mozz on a toasted garlic hero. It was huge and delicious and came with a side of slaw that was excellent. Washed it all down with a 1/2 lemonade 1/2 ice tea which hit the spot. You can tell it’s a neighborhood go to. If you’re looking for a great bagel or hero this is the place.

This place used to be so good! Not anymore! People they work there are always seem to be in a bad mood! Orders are always wrong! And has gotten ridiculously expensive! This is a pic of my order (Didn’t realize I can post a picture here so half of sandwich is gone) a ham and cheese sandwich with a pickle and a little Cole slaw $18.53!!! No drink or anything else!
