## What is Worth Choosing

For the Tampa resident, choosing Los Vecinos Market & Bakery is choosing authenticity, variety, and true local flavor. While they serve as a comprehensive destination for breakfast and traditional hot lunches, the bakery is especially worth choosing for three standout reasons.

First, the depth of their traditional Latin desserts is unmatched for convenience. You can pick up a world-class slice of Chocoflan or a perfect portion of Tres Leche Mini instantly, bringing an authentic dessert centerpiece to any family dinner or gathering without a special trip to an exclusive cake shop.

Second, the combination of high-quality, flavorful coffee and quick breakfast options makes it the ideal morning stop. Grabbing an Americano (hailed as the best by a customer) alongside a fresh Tostada or an affordable Pastelito ($1.50) sets the bar for a Tampa morning routine.

Finally, Los Vecinos is defined by the quality of its homemade, regional staples. Despite some occasional inconsistencies in fried items, the highlights are exceptional—particularly the highly recommended, tender, and flavorful Tamales. This commitment to preparing core Cuban dishes with "regional skill" and "quality, fresh ingredients" ensures that you are supporting a valuable, women-owned local business that is genuinely dedicated to sharing its culture and cuisine with the entire Florida community.

This place offers traditional Cuban food. A delicious assortment of baked goods, prepared food, a deli menu, and a terrific coffee. All the items that we sampled tasted very good and made fresh, and prepared with what seemed like quality, fresh ingredients and with regional skill. The service is very friendly and fast. The staff is attentive and the seating area is clean. Frequented by locals, we visited frequently during our visit to Tampa, without breaking the bank. We recommend the Americano coffee and the baked goods. The Americano coffee was best I've ever had.

Was very hopeful about this one but was disappointedI’ve lived in California for years and been to many different places as well as up and down the east coast. Especially Florida, Georgia and North Carolina where there’s actually quite a few Latino and Cuban (Florida) communities. I’ve been to El Rey in Miami (good)Here’s the breakdown :Atmosphere was open and bright. It’s setup like a buffet/cafeteria/deli line. The food is out in big sheet pans under glass or pastry racksOrdered:Pastelitos, a beef and a guava the fillings were sparse. The pastry flaky but the oil used was quite rancidUnfortunately This rancid oil affected the empanadasA beef and a cheese. The beef filling was overpowered by the rancid oil but was a decent amount.Arroz Amarillo chicken and yellow rice comes with your choice of meat. There was a variety to choose from which all looked good except for some chicken leg quarters that looked quite dried outSelected the stewed pork chunks with potatoes which was tasty and only a few parts of the pork a bit dry in spots, topped with pickled white onions was niceThe yellow rice was lightly seasoned but the chicken pieces were incredibly dry.The stars of this experience were the super sweet ladies and the tender pork tamale. Sitting in broth it was tasty, tender, garlicky and delicious with bits of pork. Highly recommend the tamales.

I would literally drive 30 minutes just for their empanadas they’re that good! I’ve never tried empanadas like at this place in my life The crust is so flaky and the filling is packed with flavor. Their desserts are just as amazing soooo fresh, and the perfect way to end the meal. On top of that, the service is always wonderful. The sweetest lady was working today and made us feel so welcome. This place is a gemDefinitely will be back !!!!! Thank you so much
