Features / Highlights

Lubellas Patisserie has earned its strong reputation through several unique features and critically acclaimed menu items, combining authentic European techniques with vibrant Texas flavor profiles:

  • Critically Acclaimed Croissants: Widely regarded as some of the best in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the croissants—including butter, chocolate, almond, pistachio, and pecan variations—are renowned for their delicate, buttery flakiness. The bakery commits to making only a certain amount each day to ensure maximum freshness.
  • The Quiche Selection: The savory quiches, such as the Lorraine, Vegetable, and the highly-praised Chorizo Quiche with poblano peppers and Oaxaca cheese, are a customer favorite. Reviewers often state the quiches here "will forever ruin quiches for you from anywhere else."
  • Signature Brunch Items: The menu features creative and hearty brunch plates like the Huevos Rotos (two fried eggs, diced potatoes, salsa brava, and Jamon Serrano), Chilaquiles, and the Grand Marnier-infused French Toast.
  • Fusion Pastries: The menu seamlessly blends classic European patisserie with Latin-American influences, offering items like Conchas (Mexican sweet bread) and the rich Coconut Tres Leches Cake alongside traditional tarts, Danishes, and eclairs.
  • Homemade Café de Olla: A signature beverage—a traditional Mexican spiced coffee brewed with cinnamon, piloncillo (cane sugar), and clove—is a perfect pairing for both sweet and savory items.
  • Exceptional Savory Options: Beyond pastries, the lunch menu features sophisticated options like the Pesto Crusted Salmon with zucchini spaghetti, Pork Milanese, and artisanal sandwiches such as the Brisket Burger on a homemade chipotle brioche.
  • Warm, Family-Centric Atmosphere: The bakery is lauded by customers not just for the food but for the genuine warmth and hospitality provided by owners Ismael and Maria (Mari), with many reviewers stating that a visit "feels like coming home."
  • Live Music on Sundays: Enhancing the Parisian-cafe ambiance, the venue often features live music on Sunday afternoons, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing weekend brunch.

The true value lies in the dedication to handcrafted quality and fresh ingredients that define every item, from the flakiest pastry to the most complex main dish. Ismael and Mari are amazing! This place has become my absolute favorite—not just because of the food, but because of the warmth they always show me.My favorite treat is the spinach croissant (yes, it’s that good!), and the seasonal mango dessert is incredibly delicious.Honestly, I couldn’t pick just one favorite… everything tastes amazing! Every visit feels like coming home. ✨🍰🥐

Such a cute and cozy French cafe with a full menu of a mix of brunch and lunch! Their Sangria is amazing and their selection of cakes and pastries is to die for! I had a lemon icebox cake that I as layered with vanilla cookies I think? Not sure but it was delectable and perfect for summer! Will come again!

Hidden Gem, that’s worth the experience. I and the chorizo quiche with house salad and a side of the most decadent flaky croissant. Would have loved for the coffee to have stronger taste of cinnamon, however it was strong. It was Easter Sunday, so today they had live music. Enjoyed every bit of the experience.
