From the moment I walked up,Mee Sum Pastry impressed me with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and the mouthwatering aroma of baked goods. I tried the signature BBQ pork and Chicken Hom Bows. Each was a little masterpiece: the BBQ pork had a perfectly caramelized crust with tender, flavorful meat inside. Every bite was fresh, balanced, and satisfying. Same with the chicken. Delicious!Prices felt fair for the high quality, and my order was served promptly (even during a busy afternoon). It’s clear they take care in both their craftsmanship and their service. If you’re in the area and craving excellent Chinese bakery items or dim sum-style pastries, Mee Sum Pastry is an absolute must. I’ll be going back—soon.

The manbow(I think that's the spelling) was tasty but the bread was a little too sweet, but the filling was nice needed more meat and less sugar overall. Nice and soft, just too sweet. The crab Rangoon was full of crab, it was also tasty. The problem was it was $4 for one!
Sep 10 · TiffanyThe shrimp chive dumings and Sesame Matcha snacks are both excellent. Lots of tasty filling, nice thin skin, delicious flavor combo. While its in a tourist heavy spot and the prices reflect that, and lines are long, the food is really good. Recommended.
Sep 12 · Matt PThe real treasure of Pike Place. I think the ‘Public Market Center’ sign is overrated and Mee Sum is the real attraction. I know I’d only return for this place, the food is magical. The moment I laid eyes on the pork BBQ hombow, its golden and well-shaped allure pulled me in, and I knew I had to have it. Even upon first bite, I felt as if I had transcended, and I’m not exaggerating. I also tried a moon cake, which was quite good, a first time trying red bean paste for me and not the last I’m sure. After exploring more of Pike Place, I found myself back to Mee Sum, ordering yet another pork BBQ hombow, along with 6 of their dumplings. The only trouble I have with Mee Sum is that now that I’ve had it, I crave it constantly. It’s like a drug to me, it’s like my own personal brand of heroin.
Jul 10 · Harrison RoaneI'm so glad I stopped by this bakery. I asked the woman working there which sweet pastry was her favorite and she said the red bean moon cake, so I got that one! It was dense and surprisingly hearty, and not overly sweet! I am glad I tried something new, and even though the egg yolk in the middle wasn't my favorite, it was still very tasty. I will definitely go back and try their other pastries.
