We likely will not be back. The young woman at the counter clearly hated her job & didn’t want to serve us. She did not explain that the combo had an up charge for the potato mozzarella dog we ordered. We have never been here before, so we did not realize. The potato mozzarella dog came out not with the large pieces of potato from the images but tiny bits of what looked to be overcooked chopped up McDonalds fries on the outside. Hard tiny rocks that didn’t cost the entire outside even. The donut did not taste fresh. Overall underwhelming & overpriced. There are so many better places in this area.

About and visit notes
Mochinut Frisco: Bringing Global Flavor Trends to the Heart of North Texas
For residents of Frisco and the greater North Texas area, Mochinut Frisco is a unique and exciting culinary destination that perfectly blends global dessert and street food trends. This popular spot transcends the traditional concept of a 'donut shop,' offering a captivating trifecta of specialty items: the distinctive Mochi Donut, the savory-sweet sensation of Korean Rice Flour Corndogs, and an expansive menu of refreshing Boba Drinks.
The Mochi Donut, the namesake centerpiece, is a hybrid treat combining the airy qualities of a classic American donut with the delightful, chewy texture (often called 'QQ') of Japanese mochi, which is made from rice flour. The resulting pastry is a light, fluffy, and uniquely satisfying alternative to heavy traditional donuts, with flavors that rotate weekly to keep the experience fresh and exciting for loyal Texan customers. This constant innovation ensures there is always a new reason to stop by.
Beyond the sweets, Mochinut Frisco doubles as a Korean restaurant and hot dog stand, specializing in the trendy Korean Rice Flour Corndogs. These are not your average fairground hot dogs; they feature a crispy rice-flour batter and come stuffed with various fillings, including beef sausage and stretchy, melted mozzarella cheese, often sprinkled with a touch of sugar for that signature savory-sweet Korean street food flavor profile.
This women-owned establishment operates with a casual, inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a quick visit, a dessert run, or a solo dining experience—a true fusion hot spot that has secured its place in the vibrant Frisco food scene.

Jul 23 · Madison RussoSuch an awesome place! It was so clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The lady who served me was very kind, polite and welcoming. I ordered the 3-pack of mochi donuts and each flavor I received was so fresh and delicious! This has now become one of my new favorite places to come for something sweet (but not too sweet) and delicious! 🫶🏾🍩
Nov 24 · Whitney JThe donuts in our dozen were probably a day or more old and tough to eat. We didn’t finish our box because of it unfortunately. They gave an extra one — fulfilling the true “bakers dozen” — and we had that donut to compare to the rest. VERY DIFFERENT consistency than the ones in the box.Flavors are okay. The churro and chocolate are the best imo.
