Cashier did not know how to work the register, didn’t add an item I asked for, sandwich had uncooked turkey bacon and cost $9. The place itself is filthy and a long wait for your food even with five workers in the spot. Huge bag for one bagel.
May 22 · Middle ManWe came in from out of town for an archery tournament. We got recommended Mr. J’s bagels by some locals and it did not disappoint. They have a wide array of options. From multiple different types of bengals to sandwiches to sweet treats. I got the bacon and egg on a plan bagel. Normally when I get this somewhere else it never has enough bacon. But this sandwich had more than enough and was cooked to perfection. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quick, great, and easy breakfast.

The other issue we have is with the biscuits and “sausage gravy”…. Sausage gravy should consist of sausage and sausage drippings! The “sausage gravy” lacks sausage crumbles and sausage flavor? Take note that the biscuits are of frozen origin. So if you’re looking for “southern” cooking, it ain’t here! I could get the same food in New York City!

Unfortunately, I lived in NY for 7 years and experienced real NY bagels 🤪 These are not bad, but lack in flavor. I usually get a sausage, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin. And I can barely taste the cinnamon raisin flavor in the bagel. My wife got the same thing but on the french toast, once again it was lacking in flavor. $7.50 for a breakfast sandwich is not cheap but not outrageous. I really hoped it would be better the second time around.
