Our family tried multiple panaderías around Fort Worth this weekend and this one was my personal favorite! The conchas reminded me of ones from a bakery I loved when I was a kid. The staff was friendly and the bright colors and nostalgic feel of the W Seminary Dr location took me back to my childhood. Our family will definitely be back!

Introduction / Overview
For Texans in the Fort Worth area with a taste for authentic, high-quality Mexican baked goods, Panaderías Don Goyo is a must-visit destination. This establishment is far more than just a simple bakery; it is a vibrant cornerstone of the local community, dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich culinary tradition of Mexican panadería and pastelería (pastry shop). Located prominently on West Seminary Drive, this Latino-owned business has become a beloved fixture, celebrated for its fresh ingredients, deep commitment to artisanal flavors, and expansive variety that appeals to every sweet tooth.
Panaderías Don Goyo specializes in an enormous selection of Pan Dulce (Mexican sweet bread), which is the heart and soul of the business. From the classic, shell-patterned Conchas—available in familiar colors like white, pink, yellow, and chocolate—to regional specialties like Marranitos (pig-shaped cookies with a piloncillo flavor) and delicate Empanadas filled with sweet potato, pumpkin, or caramel, the aroma alone invites a sense of warmth and nostalgia. Customers consistently praise the fresh, warm, and authentic quality of the bread, often noting that it reminds them of childhood memories. The bakery’s commitment to tradition, coupled with a friendly and welcoming staff, has earned it a reputation as one of the very best panaderías in the region.
While pan dulce is its daily bread, Panaderías Don Goyo shines brightly as a full-service cake and dessert shop. They offer a spectacular range of cakes and special occasion desserts, including the famously moist and flavorful Tres Leches cake. This panaderia is a true gem in Fort Worth! The bread is always fresh, warm and full of authentic flavor. From conchas to all types of pan dulce, everything tastes homemade with so much care. The pastries are not only delicious but also beautifully made. The staff was super welcoming and friendly as I walked in the door. Hands down the best panaderia in town.
Aug 18 · David ChavezYall if yall are in the Ft Worth area and craving some Pan Dulce and other Mexican treats. I highly recommend trying this place! Made me feel like a kid in a candy shop. They also had amazing cakes and coffee also.
Jan 31 · Rena TovarThe one and only place for pan dulce!I have been coming here for about a year and I’m sad I slept on this place. It smells sweet when you walk it and there’s usually a ton of people but the line moves quick.THE FRESHEST bread around! There is a ton of variety here - pan dulce, cakes, bolillos, as well as coffee and drinks. The best thing here are their conchas. Honestly, I have never cared for them. Most I’ve ever had were too airy or just too hard. Here, they constantly have FRESH AND HOT CONCHAS. I can’t even begin to describe how good they are. Love bringing them home to enjoy a warm one with my coffee. This is a tight parking lot and honest a nightmare every time we come but them conchas make it worth it!Tip: You also get a small discount for paying cash.

The dessert they have and cakes are exceptionally delicious. Can't go wrong with any selection. I'm so happy to have found this gem. And the people that work there are very nice and pleasant. What's not to love.
