The bakery’s most striking feature is the "HUGE amount of items" available, from a staggering number of pastry and cookie options to a wide array of cakes. This vast selection ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you're a long-time regular with a favorite treat or a first-time visitor overwhelmed by the delicious choices. The bakery's cannolis are a highlight, filled fresh upon ordering to ensure maximum crispness and flavor. While one customer noted the cannoli filling was "good but not the best I’ve ever had," the commitment to freshness and the overall quality of the pastries is a testament to the bakery's high standards.

The experience at Pasticceria Rocco is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. It's a place that feels deeply ingrained in the neighborhood, with a staff that takes "great care" of its customers, even when they arrive just before closing. The prices are described as "very reasonable," which is a welcome surprise in an area known for its premium costs. This combination of a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and fair pricing makes it a place that feels accessible and inviting to all. Pasticceria Rocco isn't just a place to buy a pastry; it's a place to sit, relax, and savor a moment of authentic Italian tradition in the heart of New York City.

I was absolutely amazed by the number of pastry, cookie, and cake options available here. After a trip to Italy I have been trying to replicate my experience by going to every Pasticceria I can find. We got here right before they were closing and the waiter seated us right away and took great care of us. This seems like a very popular place in the neighborhood. I felt like the prices were very reasonable and the few treats we ordered were very tasty.

Cute bakery with a HUGE amount of items. Ordered cannolis and they were filled upon ordering. The filling was good but not the best I’ve ever had. Would come again and try other items out.

Treated myself to my favorite—rainbow sprinkle cookies—and they were some of the worst I’ve ever had. They were way too thin, which gave them a hard, unpleasant crunch, and there was a strange aftertaste I couldn’t place. Not very sweet or buttery either. Overall just really disappointing, especially for the price.

The original cheesecake here was the best I had all trip. The Italian cheesecake was a bit lemony, almost like a lemon pound cake, which wasn't bad. The key lime tart wasn't good (don’t get it), and the cannoli was just okay. The lobster tail with cream was pretty good. The staff was super friendly and sweet, and they're open late.

Good: The selection on offer was huge and looked great in the cabinet. The place is open until later and the prices are reasonable.OK: Unless you are ordering takeaway for the Italian cookies or bakes goods, you cannot order at the cashier for any other item. You have to be seated and wait for a server to take your order. We ordered the chocolate cake, some Italian baked goods, coffee and tea. The baked goods and tea were on-point. Though the coffee was weak and had no sugar, nor was any provided. The cake was dry and crumbly and way too sweet.
