This location is incredibly convenient on the outside of the convention center. There is a small seating area just outside the counter room. I had the potato and cheese pastry and the chocolate cream hazelnut roll. Having just come off a plane, these pastries really hit the spot: dense and flavorful. Plus, they were ready immediately. The seating area was nice, too, essentially a covered patio that allowed some nice people watching along the street.

For Washington locals and visitors alike seeking a unique and satisfying culinary experience, Piroshky Piroshky stands out as a true Seattle institution. This renowned bakery, celebrated far beyond the Puget Sound, specializes in creating authentic Eastern European hand-molded baked goods known as piroshkies. Far from being just a simple pastry, a piroshky is essentially a hand pie, featuring a distinctive, often slightly spongy or flaky dough encasing a wide variety of both savory and sweet fillings. Since opening its doors in 1992 in the historic Pike Place Market, Piroshky Piroshky has captivated customers with its commitment to traditional Russian recipes while also incorporating local Pacific Northwest flavors and ingredients. This blend of old-world charm and regional distinction has earned the bakery widespread acclaim, including recognition from national publications and food shows, cementing its status as one of America's most iconic food destinations.
Every item here is baked fresh daily and individually hand-molded into its own unique shape, a decades-long tradition that speaks to the dedication to craftsmanship. Whether you are looking for a hearty, savory handheld meal or a delightful sweet treat, this bakery offers a delicious and quick option for people on the move, maintaining the original goal of bringing a taste of Russia to the Pacific Northwest. The offerings are known for being dense, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying, making them a perfect stop in the busy downtown core of Seattle.
