Just amazing. A perfect cup of coffee on the way to a busy meeting filled day. Togo cup in hand would have preferred to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It is definitely very welcoming and so peaceful here. It was super difficult to choose which pastry I was going to have today. So many wonderful choices and they all looked so amazing. I can't wait to stop here tomorrow, so I can get some treats to accompany me on my next adventure.

Nice place with a wonderful shady outdoor space. I didn’t try the pastry, being a contrarian, but had an omelet instead. It was served quickly and well prepared. Staff is friendly, the place is modern attractive, and appeared to be very clean.
Jun 28 · Greg WurzCute cafe with a ton of seating and super friendly staff. I dropped by Roggenart after seeing it on a list of "recommended cafes in Northern Virginia" and loved the large space, abundant natural light, and wall of books that customers are free to borrow and thumb through as they sit. It's generally pretty quiet, so it's a great place to work or read. The coffee is solid, although a bit too acidic for my taste, and they have a bunch of fun pastries. At the barista's recommendation, I decided to try the lemon danish; the crust was nice and flaky, but I found the inner filling way too sweet. The lemon curd was slightly tangy, but most of the natural sourness had been overtaken by the sugar.
Jan 9 · Sonya HuNice 2:30PM vibe with wood & leather tables/chairs, calm music, good spacing between tables and cool bookshelf. Deli meat in turkey bacon avocado was ordinary/right out of package and a few uninspiring green leaf lettuce hearts but rest of sandwich was good if not remarkable. About $20 for just sandwich chip & drink; guess that’s average around here. convenient walking, esp for Jefferson residents, but otherwise only busy street parking. Had to remind server to bring chips and got my own napkin. Nice place to get quiet work done or have a quiet conversation (I visited 2:30 PM on weekday). Didn’t see any way to recycle the trash.
May 29 · Todd MinnersVery good food, coffee, and staff. I was staying about a week at a nearby hotel and much rather made the walk here than use the in-hotel Starbucks! My only gripe is the first day or two I ordered from them they had these fantastic croissant breakfast egg sandwiches but later in the week they disappeared from the online menu! They were so tasty! :(
