I highly recommend the cashew cookie, pistachio maamoul, date maamoul, date cookies, and the small white log pistachio cookies I am not sure the name of. I love this bakery because there are SO many items to choose from! If you aren't familiar with particular cookies, It's nice to purchase random ones individually (pay by weight) to decide which ones you like for next time. Randomly picking a few of each would also be a great dessert to bring to any dinner party or picnic.A super sweet lady was so friendly and answered all of my questions about the flavors.I am looking forward to many more trips here and trying everything on the menu at least once (or thrice 😋)

I know what a baklava is but they have over 5 different types. “I’ll have one of each,” resulted in baklavas for breakfast and dessert over the next few days. What a treat! The savory pastries are good too. If you don’t know what it is, which I didn’t, just ask and they are happy to explain. Now that I’m back home I’m craving this place and it’s pastries.

I highly recommend to anyone searching for baklava in LA to check here first. Sarkis Pastry also has coffee and tea beverages as well as a wide variety of pastries and other sweets.
