Jul 20 · Chris VIt was recommended to me that I stop at Skaneateles Bakery while I was in that area during my travels. I got a coffee and a pastry and they were both delicious. I also ask for any recommendations on what I should see while I was in the area. I was told about Carpenter falls which did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and very responsive to all their patrons.

They pump out fresh cake donuts (plain, glazed, cinnamon glazed, choco sprinkles, coconut) and I truly don’t think you can go wrong. The cinnamon glazed donut was insane — I’m already planning to return tomorrow morning for breakfast to get two of that same donut. The cinnamon roll was light and fluffy. If the weather is nice, I recommend grab n go to enjoy your pastry across the street with a stunning view of Lake Skaneateles. Otherwise, there is indoor seating available. Don’t leave Skaneateles without making a stop here!
