Senorita breads seem smaller than before, but still worth the drive. Was a little disappointed that they only had a 4pack of Ensemada breads for sale 10bucks. I was only looking to buy one for the ride back home. So I added another 5 Senortias to my 30 pack order. Prices have increased over the past year... again still worthy of the drive. I'm sure the staff at Longden Elementary will love them. 3 left for me, the rest will go to school.

What Makes Starbread Bakery Cerritos Worth Choosing
For Californians, particularly those in Southern California, Starbread Bakery Cerritos is an essential local business worth choosing for its exceptional specialization and unmatched convenience. The primary draw is, without a doubt, the quality and selection of its unique baked goods, led by the fan-favorite Original Senorita Bread. The consistent demand for this item, which patrons are willing to drive for and purchase in large quantities, speaks volumes about its quality.
Beyond the Senorita Bread, the bakery excels in catering to a diverse and sophisticated palate. The focus on specialty products like Ube and Pandan squares, along with the various fillings in their Malasadas (including Guava and Dulce de Leche), elevates the shop far above a standard neighborhood bakery. It’s a place to find treats that are culturally distinct and locally trending, such as their popular Mochi Donuts.
It is important to note the mixed customer feedback regarding product freshness, with one reviewer expressing disappointment over the perceived staleness of the Malasada bread and marked-down items, while another praised the Senorita Bread so highly they purchased a large quantity. This suggests that while their core products are exceptional, checking the quality of certain specialty or non-core items may be advisable. However, the positive review highlights the powerful appeal of items like the taro with cheese bread.
Ultimately, Starbread Bakery Cerritos provides a crucial service by offering an accessible, convenient, and specialized menu. With a Free parking lot, full accessibility, and payment flexibility, the logistical barriers to a Quick visit are minimal. When the craving hits for the unique taste of their renowned Senorita Bread or a wide variety of Filipino and fusion desserts, Starbread Bakery Cerritos on Norwalk Blvd is the definitive choice in Southern California.

The Malasada bread was was dried and stale honestly I didn't like it much any of the bread they have were thebsame as the ones they had marked down for 50% off. The taro with cheese bread is giving them the stars other than that hope they could improve the quality of their goods.
Apr 8 · juan vNice location, and fast and friendly service. The senorita bread is a must have! Buy a lot, cause you'll be eating it later.
Mar 20 · Charles FestejoI've been getting the bread from here whenever I pass by and it's been an absolutely great experience every time. I have had so many individuals try it and I have yet to have any complaints. I will note that the price of the bread has really been going up steadily but I still think it's more or less worth it.
Dec 20 · A SI’m a baker so I normally don’t go to bakeries with high expectations. I went to the Cerritos store to try their senoritas because that’s what they are popular for. These were ok, just a tad better than the ones from the bakery across the street. That’s about it. Service was slow, so be prepared to wait. The store is small, so be prepared to wait outside the store. There was a young person manning the cash register and, I guess, putting the orders together. He was neither welcoming nor rude, but obviously just getting his job done. I asked whether their mochinuts were dairy-free and he replied that he did not know and that they came from Anaheim. At $3.50 (3 for $10) they were smaller, more expensive, and inferior to those from the Mochinut stores. I bought three and they were stacked in a plastic container so the frosting on these got on each other. Not recommended if you are planning to share, as these would look unappealing once you separate them. Btw, be prepared to see the Tip screen 🙄 when paying. (I tip well for services that deserve tips but I see no reason for this store to have this screen. What extra service is being provided outside of ringing up your purchase and handing you the items? 🤷♀️) I’ll probably visit again after a while. I’m giving them the benefit of learning as they just recently opened. I’ll revisit the review after my next visit. In the meantime, I’ll be getting senoritas from across the street where they know what goes into their products.
