What a wonderful experience. I stopped by the bakery yesterday looking for something unique and they came through. A strawberry- rhubarb croissant made out of stock materials on the spot. Pre orders are probably better but I got what I wanted. I put it in the freezer overnight based on their recommendation and this morning, eating it for breakfast, I found it still moist, crisp and delicious after a minute in the air fryer. Thanks for such a great experience! Absolutely a must stop at the bakery or one of the many street markets in NOVA. The staff is friendly, energetic and creative.

About and visit notes
Introduction / Overview
TOIMOI BAKERY, nestled in the heart of Chantilly, VA, has quickly become a standout destination in Northern Virginia’s dynamic food scene. This bakery is not merely a place to buy baked goods; it is a culinary experience built on the innovative fusion of classic French pastry techniques with bold, authentic Asian flavors. As an Asian-owned and Asian Woman Owned business, TOIMOI BAKERY brings a fresh, global perspective to the art of the croissant, earning a reputation for crafting unique, visually stunning, and highly sought-after treats that regularly sell out, particularly at local farmers' markets.
The true specialty here is the laminated dough—the foundation of their signature croissants and danishes. These are transformed into modern masterpieces through inventive shapes (like the Cube Croissant and Suprême Croissant) and unique fillings that showcase ingredients beloved in Asian cuisine, such as Ube (purple yam), Matcha, Black Sesame, Taro Mochi, and even savory options like Miso Bacon. For the sophisticated palates of Northern Virginia, TOIMOI BAKERY offers an exciting departure from the ordinary, promising that each visit delivers a new flavor adventure. This Chantilly location functions as their primary production facility and "croissant hub," offering weekend retail hours and a dedicated space for pre-order pickups, making these delicious pastries more accessible than ever before.

After observing the buzz on social media, I was curious to try the baked goods at this bakery. However, my experience did not quite meet my expectations. The pastries I sampled had a higher bread-to-filling ratio than I had hoped, and I encountered better options elsewhere. While the Dubai Chocolate Croissant was decent, I felt it could benefit from improvements; the bread component didn't resemble a traditional croissant with its buttery layers. Although there were chocolate cream and pistachio pieces, I think more filling would enhance the experience. Similarly, the Ube Cube Croissant had a substantial bread portion compared to the Ube cream, which was primarily concentrated in the center. It’s worth noting that the bakery does not provide a seating area or beverage options, but I appreciated the staff's friendly demeanor.
Apr 20 · Patrick MinSmall, unassuming bakery in Chantilly. The chocolate Dubai crossiants will BLOW YOUR MIND!! The crossiant itself is cooked perfectly: flaky outside, soft doughy inside. It has a delectable chocolate mousse on top and crunch Dubai topping. I could not have enjoyed it more. I ate one in the parking lot before I even left…No seating here, so pickup only.
Jul 28 · Maggie HowellDon’t sleep on Toimoi bakery!!This is a hidden gem for French pastry. Everything was well balanced in sweetness and flavor.A little hard to find— but don’t give up!!The croissants were crunchy and light without any of the toughness of typical American pastierary
Aug 31 · Benjamin LarsonThe matcha and strawberry croissant was so good! It was very light, crispy, while also being soft. And the inside filling was very tasty and sweet but not overly sweet and it was just the right proportions. The cherry blossom moon cake was also fun to eat and very cute! I got their baked goods at the Thai Festival in Manassas so I’ve never been to the bakery so I can review that but the baked goods I ate were so good!
