This was my third time stopping by Black Seed, I’ve never been to any of their other locations but honestly I’m impressed. As a local New Yorker born & raised in Queens, I have high expectations for my bagels but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their bagels are absolutely delicious. So far I’ve had the BEC 9/10, Plain with Cream Cheese & Bacon 1000/10 and then a Sausage Egg & Cheese solid 9/10. I encourage you guys to check them out, bagels are perfectly toasted. Also, Doug and Derek at the front are the absolute sweetest. Oh and please try their cookies!!!
Jun 12 · Isabela BuitragoA welcome addition to the neighborhood since Hunters Point was severely lacking good bagel options. A love that they're a dog-friendly establishment. There's limited seating for about 8 people and there are a couple tables out on the sidewalk. I ordered takeout and had the sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and an iced cold brew. Both were delicious. My only gripe was their limited cream cheese options. Would love to see Jalapeño cream cheese added to the menu! 😋(Also they charged 50 cents to add ice to my coffee which I thought was a bit absurd 🤷🏻♂️)
Jun 28 · Matt SmithNice to have black seed in the neighborhood! Loved my tuna salad sandwich today! I wouldn’t say black seed is the best bagel itself in Ny but very delicious bagel sandwiches and hits the spot if you have a bagel craving :)
May 19 · Nicole ParkGrilled cheese everything bagel with pickled green tomatoes. I almost want to take a star away because it was going to be $4.50 to add a small cup of cream cheese to dip but the sandwich was amazing how it was.I also love their cream cheese which I'm pretty sure they make fresh.
