Tasty little breakfast or lunch spot in LIC. I tried the Sriracha Egg and Cheese Sandwich. It was tasty but not overly special. Met my needs. Started to get the bagel with lox and cream cheese, red onion, tomato and capers.

Really clean food options here but lately the newer chefs have been terrible. My yogurt bowl is literally drenched with a quarter cup of honey and there is barely any yogurt. For $13 weeks expect better than this.

A perfect spot after a nice walk at the park. Located very close to Gantry park, this cafe serves the BEST coffee drinks I ever had and some fresh and delectable pastries and sandwiches. I personally love their Breakfast Burrito and Mozzarella Toasted sandwich, I added some turkey for an extra protein and it’s amazing! I recommend their Chai Latte, it’s my favorite. Very friendly staff and clean space and the vibes is just right.

A general issue in the majority of cafes in NYC.Please take better precautions with food safety. While staff were cleaning surfaces, I noticed flies landing on the food displayed inside the mirror. It’s important to keep food properly covered at all times.

Before my friends and I go to the park, we meet at Black Star Bakery & Cafe first. Good coffee wakes us up and some of my friend actually enjoy the bakery. The cafe has enough space and very chill and relax. Only one restroom so you might have to wait on the line sometime.
