We ordered a small 4” Vanilla Mini Birthday Cake from Buttercooky for my son’s 1st birthday cake smash. I was excited to use Buttercooky for this big milestone bc we have ordered from them in the past and have been fans of their pastries. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to see the lack of care and thought in packaging the cake.The cake itself was placed in a box that was clearly too small/short for the cake, which caused the cake to shift, slide and smear against the sides of the box and the frosting/decoration on the top of the cake became smushed and deformed by the box top.Overall, we were unable to salvage the cake for his birthday cake smash and ended up ordering from another bakery. We do not recommended entrusting Buttercooky for important milestones/events as is evident by the poor packaging of their baked goods.

The cake is moist and decadent. I enjoyed every bite of it. I love tiramisu so this is my first having the chocolate. Did not regret it.The prices are comparable to other bakeries.

No toaster?The cups are terrible.Went to pick up and coffee is now all over my car and shirt.Happened twice.The bagel recipe changed and they are less chewy and more doughy or cake like.Somewhat an insult to a traditional Ny bagel.I’m disappointed all around at a childhood favorite.
