Introduction / Overview

For residents across South Florida seeking an authentic taste of Europe, the French Bakery stands as a local culinary landmark in the Miami area. While known locally by its main sign as 'French Bakery,' its formal business identity is Delices de France, a name that translates perfectly to the "delights of France." This esteemed establishment is far more than a simple cake shop; it is a full-service bakery and patisserie that specializes in bringing the classic, high-quality baking traditions of France to the Florida community.

Established in 1994 by master baker Patrick Baboun, the foundation of this bakery is built on a passion for great bread and years of apprenticeship under French masters. This dedication to authentic technique is evident in every product, from the famous crusty loaves to the incredibly buttery croissants that have become a hallmark of the establishment. The French Bakery serves as a crucial resource for those planning special events, holding the designation as a dedicated Wedding bakery alongside its daily offerings.

Visitors to the French Bakery consistently praise the combination of delicious, fresh food and warm, professional service. Patrons highlight the freshness and full flavor of items like the croissants, meringue, and ice cream, confirming that the quality lives up to the French tradition. Whether you are craving a perfect Café Au Lait and pastry to start your day, a custom-made specialty sandwich for lunch, or a spectacular cake for a milestone celebration, this bakery is truly worth a visit, offering reasonable prices for the exceptional quality provided.

I recently visited French Bakery and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious, we tried the croissants, meringue, and ice cream, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. They also have a small but well chosen selection of wines.Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for excellent food and warm, professional service.

This bakery is truly a gem. You can immediately taste the difference in the quality of ingredients the owner uses in every pastry, bread, coffee, and even the chocolate. Each bite feels authentic, fresh, and made with care. What really stands out is the owner’s dedication to his craft and his bakery. You can tell this isn’t just a business for him—it’s a passion. The love and effort he puts into his work come through in the flavor and consistency of every product.Another thing I appreciate is that his food never makes me feel sick. I have a sensitive stomach and often get reactions when I eat at other places that use processed or artificial ingredients. Here, everything is clean, wholesome, and real, and my body feels good after eating it.

The plain croissants are full of flavor. I usually buy a bunch on the weekend and my family eats them for breakfast throughout the week. I enjoy the ham & cheese croissants as well. Recently took the large apple tart to a cookout and it was a hit. Also, one of the only places I can find a good bread pudding which is a big plus. There can be a long line on the weekend but it moves pretty quick.

Absolutely love this French bakery! The turkey and cheese croissant is perfect. They’re flaky, warm, and full of flavor. Their drinks are always on point too. I’d just suggest warming up the pastries if they’re meant to be eaten right away. Highly recommend! 🥐☕✨
