Nothing special...i had an everything bagel missing the everything and was stale. The veggie cream cheese was missing the veggies just a few large carrot chunks. I would have brought it back but i was already too far away. Oh and very small for $5.35 with small coffee...

Kosher Bagel Hole offers a menu centered on classic bagel shop staples, providing customers with everything they need for a perfect New York bagel experience.
- Freshly Baked Bagels: The core of their business, the bagels are known for their distinctively hard and crispy exterior and a soft, chewy inside. A variety of flavors are available, including everything, sesame, poppy seed, and more.
- Homemade Spreads: The shop offers a selection of cream cheeses and spreads, including popular choices like whitefish salad and a veggie cream cheese.
- Bagel Sandwiches: Customers can build their own bagel sandwiches with a selection of classic toppings, from cream cheese and lox to a variety of other deli staples.
- Coffee and Beverages: To complete the meal, they offer coffee and other beverages, providing a full breakfast or lunch experience.
It is important to note the mixed feedback found in customer reviews regarding certain items. While one customer raved about the whitefish salad and the perfect bagel texture, another was disappointed with a stale everything bagel and veggie cream cheese that lacked vegetables. This kind of variance can be a part of the experience at any busy, small business. However, the overwhelmingly positive sentiment from long-time customers, like the person who stops by every time they visit their mom, speaks to the shop's overall reliability and strong local appeal.
Kosher Bagel Hole stands out from the competition for several key reasons, highlighted by both loyal customers and first-time visitors.
- Authentic Texture: The bagels are a major highlight. As one review noted, they are "nice and hard on the outside and chewy on the inside," a texture that is a hallmark of a properly made, traditional New York bagel. This is a significant point of pride and a reason many people choose this shop over others.
- Price and Value: A customer review stated that the price is "comparable to other bagel places in Brooklyn," indicating that the shop offers fair value for its products within the competitive local market.
- Local Loyalty: The shop has a dedicated base of repeat customers. The review about the customer who "always" stops there when visiting their mom illustrates the shop’s role in family traditions and its deep connection to the community.
The negative feedback, such as a stale bagel or a disappointing cream cheese, is a reminder that even the best places can have an off day. However, the consistency and quality celebrated by many other customers suggest that these are isolated incidents rather than the norm. The fact that the bagels are so highly praised for their texture and quality is a strong indicator of the shop's overall strengths and its commitment to a traditional product that New Yorkers love.

Always stop here when i visit my mom! A bakers dozen of everything to go and one sesame bagel with whitefish salad and tomato to eat immediately! even if i just ate or am not really hungry lol.Bagels are nice and hard on the outside and chewy on the inside. It almost like they are toasted but they are not. They are a good size. The whitefish salad is slightly sweet to me but I like it.Price is comparable to other bagel places in Brooklyn.
Jun 26 · Natalie VFood is okay at best, overpriced and service is terrible. They charge a fee to toast things and will ask you many times to confirm your order as they're making it. They can't even sell you a plain toasted bagel, store policy is you must order something on it which is minimum $3.
Oct 28 · Steven YDoes not open early enough to get breakfast before school or work. Always closed in the morning…. And this holds true again and again.
May 22 · ilona943One day I paid $1.75 or so for a bagel, the next I paid $3.25, same exact bagel.Different quality everyday, night and day difference to the point where it's not worth going anymore because it turns into a waste of money. If you want them to toast and butter your bagel, the bagel triples in price, how that makes any sense to me I don't know. The staff is generally rude.
