It's just ok. Empanadas needed more flavor, the Guava pastry needed more Guava. I'm a former chef from NY my expectations are very high. This place didn't make the cut for 5 stars. So they get just 3

What is worth choosing
La Villa Bakery is truly worth choosing for Central Florida residents who are specifically seeking authentic, culturally distinct baked goods and cuisine. This is not your average neighborhood cake shop; it is a gateway to Colombian and Latin American flavors.
The most recommended items to try are the savory staples. You should prioritize the Pandebonos, the traditional cheese bread that is a cornerstone of Colombian baking, for a simple yet incredibly satisfying savory treat. The Colombian Empanadas are another must-try, offering a perfectly crispy exterior and a flavorful filling that is ideal for lunch or an afternoon snack. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to try the pastries with guava or arequipe (caramel), as these traditional fillings define much of the region's dessert culture.
While one customer review noted that the Guava pastry needed more filling and the Empanadas needed more flavor, it is worth noting that culinary expectations can vary widely, particularly for former chefs. However, the general appeal of the authentic menu and the convenience of the location, with its easy parking and quick service, make it an establishment worth sampling to form your own opinion on their unique, fresh offerings.

Dishonest.I went yesterday and got 3 little breads with cheese and paid $4.80. I just got notified from cash app that someone added a tip to the transaction. It was a small amount of .58 but what bothers me is that someone just added a tip a day after I went.
Feb 22 · Thessalonica VilaEmpanadas smelled old and tasted dry couldn’t finish eating them. I was then hoping the tres leches will substitute but same disappointment. If helpful this small bakery is inside the fancy fruit supermarket
Oct 7 · TatianaVery good and delicious food! Very friendly and kind people. Definitely love the empanadas. I only visit the super market for the bakery.
Oct 5 · Andres FarfanIf I could not give any stars I would. Nasty and it looked very generic or grocery store packaged. Actually grocery dessert would have been better.. So gross. Waisted my money but never again.
