I visited the Paris Baguette inside Zion Market today and was extremely disappointed with what I saw. Inside the display case — which I assume is meant to protect unpackaged pastries — there were several fruit flies flying around. I pointed it out to the staff, but the response was dismissive and unprofessional.Instead of carefully removing the affected items or addressing the issue properly, the staff member casually grabbed a handheld vacuum, opened the case, and started waving it around directly over the uncovered pastries — with no regard for hygiene or where the flies actually were. I even pointed to the specific location of the flies, but they completely ignored me.Even after that, the flies remained inside the case, and the staff just went back to the counter as if nothing had happened. This raises serious concerns about the store’s sanitation and food safety practices. I would strongly recommend that management take this issue seriously before it affects more customers.
