About and visit notes

For residents of Providence and the greater Rhode Island area, Seven Stars Bakery is a name that represents quality, community, and an enduring commitment to the craft of baking. While the company has multiple locations, the one on Point Street holds a special place for many locals. This is a business that has built its reputation on a simple but powerful principle: making great baked goods the old-fashioned way. Since its founding, Seven Stars has become a cornerstone of the community, a place where people can gather, relax, and enjoy high-quality food and drink in a welcoming environment. This article will provide a comprehensive guide to the Point Street location, delving into its unique offerings, prime location, and what makes it a cherished spot for so many in the area. The bakery’s success is a testament to its focus on traditional methods, using a long fermentation process and high-quality, local ingredients whenever possible to create products that are truly exceptional.

The core of Seven Stars Bakery's identity is its artisan bread. Although some customer reviews note they "can't vouch yet," the bakery has a long-standing reputation for its breads. They are baked from scratch every single day, and the process involves a meticulous attention to detail that sets them apart from mass-produced alternatives. However, the bakery’s appeal extends far beyond just bread. The extensive menu includes a wide variety of pastries, from croissants to sticky buns, as well as coffee and other beverages. One review notes a customer "enjoyed sitting out on patio, sipping latte, eating bakery items," which perfectly encapsulates the experience. While there may be mixed feelings on certain items, such as the "legendary" croissants that one customer "didn't think much of," the overall experience and atmosphere are consistently praised. The business’s dedication to providing a high-quality environment is as important as the food itself.

One of the most notable features of the Point Street location, as highlighted by a customer review, is the "super friendly service team." This focus on customer service is a key factor in building a loyal clientele. A "chilled" and welcoming atmosphere, combined with efficient and kind staff, makes every visit a pleasant experience. This personal touch is a significant advantage for a local business, as it fosters a sense of community and makes customers feel valued. The bakery is not just a place to grab a coffee; it's a place where you're greeted with a smile and can enjoy a moment of peace. The presence of a patio also adds to the appeal, providing a perfect spot to enjoy a meal or a coffee during pleasant weather, further integrating the bakery into the daily life of the neighborhood.

Carmel Latte decent, a bit too sweet. I had read their croissants were "legendary" but didn't think much of the butter croissant I had this morning. Ham & Cheese Quiche was alright but definitely NOT homemade. I thought maybe this place would do such...Their breads are supposedly top notch however cant vouch yet.Enjoyed sitting out on patio, sipping latte, eating bakery items.

Overall a very cute place with cozy vibes. It wasn't too busy when we went and we were able to find seating. The prices were a little high but seemed about average for the area. The breakfast sandwich was okay and the baked goods we got were delicious.

Finding a good coffee shop I can go to every morning is one of the first things on my to-do list when I’m traveling to a new area. SO happy Seven Stars Bakery was my first choice. Staff are friendly, decaf iced coffee has a bold flavor, and the sour dough bread saved us throughout our whole trip. Did I mention the cookies? Chocolate chip was sweet and salty and just the perfect mix of flavors. I also bought one of their tote bags and I loved how it had so many inner pockets and they’re handmade! Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful RI weather!
