Went there today for the first time. While the food was good, the people working there had to have been the most miserable people I’ve ever seen. We walked in the door and not one person said hello (they looked up when we walked in but not even a smile). Ordered our food and told the guy it was our first time there so to bare with us and he didn’t even crack a smile, let alone give us any input on what is good. We sat there for about 45 mins and I kid you not, I did not see these employees smile once unless it was with each other. Again, the food was good (but very over priced IMO for what it is) but the miserable employees really dampened the atmosphere and made it so we probably won’t go back. The owner really should hire people a bit more friendly who make you feel welcome.

La, La, La LOVE this bakery!! We had a chance to visit a couple of weeks ago. Traveling through on our way to see the mansions in Newport at Christmas, & looking for a good cup of joe and a sweet treat. From the minute you walk through the door, your senses are on high alert. The smell of coffee & pastries is delicious! The pastry options are incredible! I loved trying something new & different. The Kouign Amann was absolutely delicious! Stopped in again the next day for a quick cup of coffee & purchased a package of shortbread. Sooooooo yummy! They also donate left over pastries and bread at the end of the day to food pantries. Great mission, delicious food & drink, can’t wait to return.

Lavender latte didn't have lavender or couldn't taste it, but at least I could share that one with my friend.Pastries were good.
May 5 · O M.This Seven Stars Bakery just opened and I have already been twice. Both times were delightful. Happy, friendly customer service with great recommendations. As someone who has worked in 2 local coffee shops as a barista, I can say I have a lot of respect for this place. They donate their food and pastries to food shelters which is a great way to eliminate food waste while providing fresh options daily. They serve a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches, and drinks which includes my FAVORITE French pastry: kouign amann!! Their quiche is great and I appreciate their milk options and complimentary water. I would recommend to anyone in the area who wants to go to a cafe to come here. Thank you Seven Stars and good luck here in East Greenwich.
