About and visit notes

For Central Florida residents searching for an authentic, high-quality culinary experience that bridges the gap between a traditional bakery and a robust deli, Tainos Bakery & Deli in Casselberry is the premier destination. Far more than a typical local bakery, this establishment is a vibrant hub that brings the heart and flavor of Puerto Rican cuisine—known as "Comida Criolla"—right to the Seminole County community. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the comforting aroma of fresh-baked bread, rich Bustelo coffee, and slow-roasted meats.

Tainos Bakery & Deli successfully combines two core offerings: a Bakery serving fresh bread and sweet treats, and a Deli famous for its classic and premium sandwiches, which the founders brought with them from Morovis, Puerto Rico. Their commitment to authentic recipes, generous portions, and a clean, efficient dining environment has made them a local favorite. Whether you're starting your day with a hearty Breakfast Platter or stopping by for a savory Tripleta sandwich during lunch, Tainos delivers speed, value, and true Puerto Rican flavors right here on FL-436.

The establishment is perfect for a Quick visit, offering diverse Dining options including Breakfast and satisfying lunch items. It's a taste of the island without needing to step foot on a plane, serving "Floricuas" a welcoming taste of home and introducing new diners to beloved traditional foods.

First time trying out the bakery in the middle of a busy work day. I came in around 3pm and the place was easy to navigate. Very clean facility. I don’t like having to order form a screen over speaking with a person. Hence 4 stars. I got 4 empanadas 2-chicken & 2- beef,I also ordered a steak sandwich for sharing and 2 iced coffees. The coffee was fine for a mid day pick me up.The sandwich was good and the beef empanadas were more flavorful than the chicken! Didn’t have to wait very long and enjoyed the Bakery.

Biggest frustration about this place is not having an appetite big enough to try every one of the deserts in one sitting. But the one I did have, was excellent. Had passed it several times and finally, today was the day. Was not disappointed. The service was efficient and friendly, and the desert case chocked full of strikingly well prepared desserts. Wash down whatever you get with a Cafe Con Leche and you'll shuffle back to your car in a happy glycemic glow.

An alright place. Service was great and the lady(didnt get her name unfortunately) made sure i got everything i needed. Food was solid, although they went a little cheap on the french fry portions. I would like to give this place another chance and perhaps order something else.

JEEZ. Easy in my top 5 best sandwich I've EVER had and that's a steep statement. Came here for a quick lunch before some errands with a friend and got a roasted pernil sandwich. Asked for it on the Mallorca bread and got it medium pressed with mayo lettuce tomato and grilled onions, I feel like honey mustard would really shine on there. I asked for it with powdered sugar. But they forgot. No big deal but I would definitely ask for it with if you order it. Their ham croquetas were alright, but the real important part of all of this was the sandwich. You gotta get that sandwich. It changed my life. That sounds so silly but I'm so serious. It was nearly perfect. We ordered on the kiosk so there wasn't really service. The restaurant was loud and crowded and the tables were kinda dirty but I didn't care whatsoever. The atmosphere is easy to look over when the food is phenomenal.
