We ordered two small pastries — one with spinach and one with cheese — and a Caprese sandwich.Everything was very tasty, especially the spinach pastry, which I thought was the best.It was very pleasant to sit inside.P.S. One time we came before 11 AM and were told that sandwiches are only available starting at 11.There are also plenty of desserts that look really good.

It was the sight of cheerful yellow chairs and tables that first caught my eye, drawing me into a café of considerable charm. With its excellent reputation, refined location, and tasteful atmosphere, it felt an inviting haven. Though it is but April, the air outside carried a chill that prompted me indoors, where I found myself in a living room-like space lined with bookshelves. The room, though mildly spirited with conversation, exuded warmth and comfort. It appeared to be a favourite among residents rather than tourists, and for a brief while, I allowed myself the quiet pleasure of feeling like a true New Yorker, absorbed in the café’s gentle rhythm.

We stumbled upon this bakery while we were roaming around the city, and we absolutely loved the service here. The people were so nice, right when we walked in we were treated with free samples to try & then we ended up trying their orange cake which was so spongy and sweet! We packed some home to take with us, but we loved the atmosphere of the cafe! They had beautiful shelves filled with books and plenty of seating to enjoy your drinks and pastries there. It was such a hidden gem! Definitely recommend everyone to check it out!

We stopped by again today for tea and sweet after lunch at a different restaurant. It was a nice experience except that two tourists families with several small children were there and were very noisy. Children were running around the seating area and one was crying loudly most of the time we were there. Too bad as it destroyed the peace and quiet we were expecting. We had a nice cup of tea and shared a slice of Banana Walnut Loaf which was delicious. Especially since the staff warmed it up for us and then brought it to our table.Except for the loud children, it is a nice place and we will go again.Back again after valentine day. Today it was busy but a nice quiet crowd. We just had a delicious cup of coffee and read our paper for an hour.A delightful spot to relax in the heart of NYC. Very nice background music as well.Back again for lunch this time. Today we had the Greek Style Stuffed Pepper and California Chicken with avocado etc. Both were very tasty. And a good cup of house coffee. Will definitely will try them again.BTW, the bathroom is spacious and very clean.

I was very excited to get freddo cappuccino. Hard to find in the city. Very disappointed, taste like regular cappuccino. I had really good freddo cappuccino in Astoria. This place is not authentic. Also, I ordered a large coffee they gave me a small and tells me the size they made was large. No it’s not. It’s the exact same size as a small. False advertising, just want to charge me more. Very sad. I live in this neighborhood and place like this won’t last if they’re not being genuine.
