What is Worth Choosing

If you are visiting TRIGO & MIEL BAKERY LLC for the first time, or looking for a memorable treat, the menu offers a wealth of traditional and specialty items that are worth experiencing. Given the bakery's specialization, the focus is undoubtedly on their rich, homemade creations, particularly those rooted in Latin American tradition.

The undisputed centerpiece of the menu is the Tres Leches Cake. This cake, which translates to "three milks," is the signature item, celebrated for its sweet, moist, and soft texture. You can try a convenient TRES LECHES CAKE SLICE ($6.99) for an afternoon treat, or order a larger cake for a gathering, such as a PASTEL TRES LECHES CHICO ($34.99) or GRANDE ($54.99). It is the authentic preparation of this dessert that truly draws the Gwinnett community.

For those who enjoy a dual-textured dessert, the Chocoflan ($7.99 for a slice) is a must-try. This typical flan is baked atop a chocolate cake, creating a layered dessert that provides the creamy texture of flan and the moist richness of chocolate cake in one amazing bite. It’s an example of the unique fusions the bakery is known for.

In addition to the cakes, the selection of fresh-baked Sweet Mexican Bread (Pan Dulce) at an accessible price of $1.80 per piece offers a daily treat. These traditional breads, such as conchas, orejas, and marranitos, are perfect when served alongside a cup of coffee at any time of day. For a more indulgent snack, consider the DONAS RELLENAS y MILHOJAS RELLENAS ($6.99); the stuffed donut is soft and homemade, filled with Bavarian cream, chantilly, and fresh strawberries, making it a highly popular and well-loved item among patrons. Other traditional items, such as the creamy and homemade Arroz con Leche ($7.99) (rice pudding) and the delicate Flan ($8.50) prepared with a traditional Mexican recipe from 1940, also provide an authentic taste of heritage.

Choosing TRIGO & MIEL BAKERY LLC supports a women- and Latino-owned business that pours passion and tradition into every product. While all businesses can have occasional service challenges, the core offering of fresh, authentic, and homemade Latin American desserts remains the compelling reason for locals in Duluth to visit and support this local sweet spot.

This cake was not worth 40 dollars, we ordered a tres leches cake with mango and strawberry fruits, it was supposed to be purple which I repeated to the man twice in Spanish, we came to a gold decorated cake left open on the front counter where people pass by, when we finally got to cut it we noticed it looked dry, and that there was mango fruit but strawberry gel, this cake was barely tres leches yall, it was moist towards the bottom nd dry towards the top, it also had inedible gold plastic things all over it we had to take them all off, the flavor was underwhelming all I tasted was sweet bland cake, not bad though. It was also pretty and It’s not a huge deal but it’s my mom nd i’s birthday cake and we were pretty disappointed to have paid 40 dollars for that.

No not worth it. Bought 7 pieces of bread for a total of $13. Expecting it to be good since they bake it there and it was such a disappointment. What a waste.

I bought a Rosca de Reyes cake in 2025, which was delicious. I went back for bread, and it was kind of ugly; no one at home liked it.Honestly, it's not delicious; they don't have a great selection, and some items look like they were from the day before. The display cases look ugly and old; it looks dirty and messy.I won't shop here again…
