MOLD on these "fresh" bagels. Been going to this place almost daily for the past several weeks, I'm not going anymore now that I found two of my sandwiches had MOLD on the bagel. Plain bagel, I figured these would be used more and so these would be more fresh but no, they must be seriously cheaping out on the quality and buying old bagels. For it to be moldy they must be a few weeks old at least, and they say the bagels are fresh. Very deceptive dishonest place, I wonder what other kind of things they are deceptive about. 0/5 food safety is a must.Update: 5 months later I try this place again and eating a bacon egg and cheese here and it gave me a stomach ache. I never have stomach issues. Do not eat here.

I gladly drive the extra 20 minutes from Monroe just to get my bagels from Bagel Boy in Old Bridge — that’s how good they are. The bagels are always fresh, perfectly made, and absolutely worth the trip every single time. You can taste the quality and care in everything they make. On top of that, the employees are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. They’re welcoming, fast, and always get my order right with a smile. If you’re serious about your bagels, this place is a must. Totally worth going out of your way for.
Jul 22 · Connor GabilanesThis place is my families go to! Not only are the staff friendly, but the bagels are so delicious. Definitely the best. I’ve tried other places before and I always seem to come back to this place..I usually order a bacon, pork roll, egg over easy, cheese, with SPK. It’s so juicy and good! And the best part.. they have joes tea to pair with.. I’ve only had one minor issue one time.. they forgot the bacon, I called them and they asked me if I wanted the bacon on the side or if they should make a new sandwich. I didn’t want to trouble too much so I told them to put it on the side and I’ll pick it up. Needless to say, they made it right with no hesitation. 👍🏼
Aug 28 · Marie Farrales1st time visiting. Even with my low star review, I believe this place deserves a 2nd shot. The guy that helped looked and moved with his experience on display. I asked for 2 plain bagels with plain cream cheese. I wasn’t offered any toasting options or anything. I received just that 2 very untoasted bagels. Still edible but Hard to enjoy a bagel like that in my opinion. I felt rushed by him and resulted in a terrible experience for my first time in. There is potential maybe with a different server. The atmosphere is friendly by all means. They are worth a shot
Sep 3 · Edwin FranciscoI got a gluten free bagel and it was the BEST I have ever had. Normally when I get them at bagel places they taste more like a pastry versus a bagel but here it tasted just like a bagel. Although it is a lot smaller than a normal bagel it was delicious!
