Introduction / Overview: Your Go-To Spot for Gourmet Cookies and Coffee in Seattle

Get Baked Seattle Cookie Co. is far more than a typical coffee shop or neighborhood bakery; it is a true destination for Washington residents and visitors alike, particularly those with a passion for exceptional, oversized cookies. Located in the heart of the city near the iconic Pike Place Market, this business successfully fuses the comfort of a classic bakery with a unique, health-conscious twist: their famous gourmet cookies are packed with protein. This ingenious combination allows customers to indulge in decadent, flavorful treats without compromising entirely on nutritional goals.

The philosophy behind Get Baked Seattle is built on creating "the best cookies you’ll ever eat," a claim customers often validate in glowing reviews. Each cookie is noted for its substantial size—often a generous six ounces—and features complex, inventive flavors with witty, memorable names like "The Wiseguy" (a crème brûlée-style cookie), "The Jimi," and "SEAside Caramel." This playful approach extends beyond their menu to the warm, passionate service provided by the team, making every visit a welcoming and engaging experience.

Beyond the signature cookies, the establishment operates as a full-fledged coffee shop and bakery, ensuring patrons can pair their massive treats with a freshly brewed cup of coffee or a selection of other beverages. Furthermore, it boasts an extensive "Common" and "Gift Shop" section, offering everything from packaged gourmet mixes to local Seattle-themed merchandise and specialty food items, cementing its status as a delightful, one-stop shop for both a personal treat and a thoughtful Washington gift.

This address places it directly in the vibrant Pike Market neighborhood, in the high foot-traffic corridor nestled between the historic market and the Seattle waterfront. While the location is central and easily accessible, first-time visitors should be aware that it can be a delightful 'hidden gem.' As noted by customers, the shop is a little "tucked away," situated near the Pike Street Hillclimb in a historic building that houses a mix of commercial and office spaces. Finding the correct entrance—often guided by visible signage and its proximity to the pier—is part of the adventure.

The location is highly walkable, boasting a Walk Score near perfection, and is a transit-user's paradise, with numerous Metro bus and RapidRide routes nearby. My only critique about this place is it was a little difficult to find, so others might be missing out on these delicious cookies. Thank god they had signs helping to point us in the right direction, but it is still a little tucked away and our Uber dropped us off at the wrong side of the street, whereas the street closer to the pier provides easier access and visibility. That being said, we were greeted with a warm smiles and you can tell the employee/owner (?) has a passion for this place as he explained the cookies, chatted, and was overall a warm and welcoming presence while we ordered and waited for our cookies to be heated up.I honestly loved the witty names, they were so cute and unique. My son got “The Jimi,” a giant sprinkle cookie which he destroyed, my boyfriend got the “Seaside Caramel,” which he claims was one of the best cookies he’s ever had, and I got the “Wise Guy,” which was a delicious crème brûlée type of cookie and absolutely phenomenal. They were so big, it took us a few days to finish one because it was a lot to unpack in one sitting, but it was perfect for us to relive and taste our treats for the next day.People might consider it expensive, but honestly I feel like it’s pretty reasonable considering the size, and nutrient content of each cookie. It’s about what I would expect to pay for high quality treats. They even have a shelf of merchandise and touristy treats, which I regret not coming back to snag some. This place was definitely a sweet treat highlight of our trip and makes me wish we had one back where we live.

These are some of the best cookies you’ll ever eat. Bonus that they’re protein cookies - they taste so good, you’d never know. The owner (didn’t catch his name) was very nice as well. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever back in Seattle.

Truly honest about the bread pudding, being the best. I will be 50 in November and yeah, it is perfected!!! The hospitality is amazing. If you live a protein life, it's a perfect spot. Eleven years of perfection is amazing!!! See you next time. Love, San Diego, CA.

Don't miss this spot! Absolutely delicious, and they're packed with protein! The s'mores cookie is to die for. Gluten-free option is peanut butter cups and they're phenomenal. Find the Henry mural next to the stairs and you're in the right spot!
