★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Be careful what you buy especially the pastry. This is what I got from the other location called roti on the run in Brooklyn. The owner has a nasty attitude. When I showed and told his about the mold in the cheese pie . He said that nothing. And you should hear how he talks to his workers. I’m sorry for the worker there he should learn from their positive attitude
October 30 · karen lagganGreat food, but "Important reminder: Please double-check your change when making cash purchases ,Make sure to ask for your receipt. Unfortunately, a particular cashier there has not always provide the correct change, she uses a technique of sweet talking customers to divert their attention from verifying their balance at the counter. This incident has occurred multiple times with me and a few other colleagues at this food outlet, while still observing ,it continues to still remain an ongoing issue until now.
March 19 · Anne v RamchandI've been going to Bakewell on Liberty Ave for years and they literally have the best Breads. It's very tasty and super soft. My kids only eats Bakewell's bread and they love it. My family went to Guyana recently and they complained about the bread there not being fresh and tasting the way that it should, So I packed a carry-on suitcase filled with Bakewell's bread ( plait breads, tennis rolls and butter flaps ), took it to Guyana and everyone loved it, they said that it's the best bread that they've ever had. Apart from their delicious breads, Bakewell have numerous other tasty delicacies on their menu as well. Be sure to stop by and give them a try!
May 19 · Aniyah AniyahSo this is my first time going to bakewell and I probably won't ever go back. I specifically went for the Tip Top cheese because I like it but to me one pack for $4 was a little pricey.while I was there I was ask if i want to try a sample of their fried chicken and fried rice. I would think if your giving samples it would be good because you want people to buy the food. It was not good by looking at it I can tell this. I tried it and the rice was extremely hot not in terms of temperature but hot as in taste like they put to much of something like pepper. I also got the chicken foot and mattati. They both weren't good either like the chicken foot was too salty and they tasted little cold like it been sitting there for a while. My friend got two egg ball and didn't like it either. He said and I quote "the eggball taste like they mix cassava with potatoes" Im not sure if it was just this day but their stuff isn't good
