★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband liked the Blueberry Lemon Scones, Mixed Berries Danish and Apple Pecan Muffins. My oldest daughter liked the danish. She bit into it and her whole face lit up due to the crunch and taste of her first bite. My son thought the cinnamon rolls with frosting was too sweet but good. I didn't see any gluten free or keto options nor did I ask. Everything looked so beautiful. We spent about 70 dollars. A lady in the line told us she drove from Salisbury, MD just for the sourdough bread. Don't worry the line goes down fast. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We will be back.
August 12 · Keisha LHome is where the heart is. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is clean, warm, welcoming, smells that will excite your taste buds, and a spread of delicacies that are so aesthetically pleasing and filled me with childlike excitement to try them all. Brooke was an absolute GEM, she was genuinely excited when she learned it was my first visit during our conversation and was SO helpful with my live to eat brain, and spoiled taste buds, deciding between the amazing options. I left with 4 items, and while I haven’t finished them, I’ve certainly taste tested them. I already have a new list of the next items I want to try because every single item I went home with was delicious. Peaches and cream danish, tomato danish, chicken salad on a croissant and last but the game changer for me, the blueberry lemon scone. I would go back for any of the above mentioned items, I was impressed with the scone because in my brain a scone is, well, dry and boring. Lemme tell ya somethin’ about these scones, just pulling it out of the package, the smell, the texture, and the smooth but rich flavour. So NOT boring, so NOT dry.If your cup needs filling, or overflowing, visit their welcoming, flavour filled home. There’s nothing that feels or tastes this good without clear heart. Thank you Black Market Bakery. 💛 Sincerely, your new loyal neighbor. (Recently located to Annapolis)
August 07 · Asi EsWe went there as a family to enjoy breakfast. The line was out the door but didn't take quite as long as it did you find a seat. The food was very good and the selection of fresh pastries was amazing. We quite enjoyed out first experience there. Would recommend.
June 14 · mark cornettNot just a good bakery, this bakery is Ridiculous. The amount of super good looking pastries is ridiculous 😂 How good each pastry is, is ridiculous. How hard it is for me to choose just two or three... ridiculous... That I would drive 45 mins to get a couple of pastries, some friends think is ridiculous. They get ridiculously creative with basic things to make sure every pastry is always perfect. But if you dont feel like "too sweet" (ridiculous idea imo) they have amazing sandwiches too. All the hype is not ridiculous, once I gave in and tried it, I was hooked! I'll say I spend $1-10 per person because each pastry really is $5-7, but I actually always end up spending around $40, all my fault tho!
August 13 · Lucy NothingPastries Overload!I looked at the beautiful display case and couldn’t decide what to purchase. The bakery is airy, and the staff was very attentive and available to answer any questions I had.I decided on the CINNAMON ROLL—so soft, no need to heat it. The cream cheese icing wasn’t too sweet; it was light and airy. It was HUGE—about the size of a palm. Honestly, the best cinnamon roll I’ve had.BISCUITA little salty, not the flaky type. It was doughy and a bit cloying. It was the size of two typical biscuits—another HUGE pastry. The CAPRESE sandwich on focaccia was delish. The bread was salty, nice, and airy. The arugula was spicy, and the pesto was earthy. I would’ve loved a little salt and pepper on the tomatoes and mozzarella for more flavor.
