★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I finally was able to stop by this morning and, wow, every pastry looks gorgeous! I couldn’t decide on one so, yes, I bought a boxful. The iced latte was creamy, smooth and sweet enough, and I love the Tiffany blue straw. I will be coming here often on the weekends. On weekdays I have to get on the road by 7am for a commute down south but then again maybe I can sneak over to get coffee and a pastry for my day.Back again two days later...the pastries were delicious! The only one that didn't quite work for me was the pecan sticky bun - it needed to be stickier with more pecans and it was quite bread-y rather than flaky. Otherwise, everything was delish!
May 21 · Elena YeeQuaint pastry business tucked in an ideal location next to the main hall of the Academy. A part of the new development taking place along the Academy Street corridor in Poughkeepsie. Beautifully presented baked goods, coffee. It is a great spot for those wishing to purchase freshly baked sourdough bread. Can be seen freshly prepared on the spot. Exquisite aromatic atmosphere 👌, excellent customer service, and pleasant experience 👍. Pricey yet of good quality. It's worth the costs.
May 21 · Christopher ThompsonNice little upscale bakery and pastry shop. Very clean. Everything looks delightful. A bit too expensive for my liking. There is a bar area if you want to eat in.We tried a pear tart which was definitely delicious. Not too sweet with a nice balance of flavors and textures.
October 28 · Ana Gdisclaimer: this is more of a 3.5 star kinda establishment for me.after much research and recommendation, i stopped in to get breakfast and treats. the space is bright and airy, smelled of baked goods. ordering was easy and i picked up the following:-bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich: came with a tomato jam on a poppy seed bun. i had high expectations based on the reviews i've read ("best BEC they've ever had") and i was underwhelmed. it tastes like just how any BEC would taste, with the addition of tomato jam. it tasted fine but not mind-blowing as i'd hoped.-coffee cake: cute (read: dainty) presentation but the coffee cake itself was very dry.-earl grey tiramisu: beautiful presentation, the tiramisu had a thin, white chocolate shell and when you break into it, it had a light mousse and moist cake. the sweetness was just right too. this was the better option out of the two sweet items i picked up.i had really high expectations of this place and i felt that it failed to deliver. it was good, but definitely wasn't mind-blowing or life-changing. it was a little on the pricey side too. ok to try out but that's pretty much it.
January 27 · Wen Jin GuoI love this little bakery. They have some of the best pastries in the area. Their chocolate croissants are to die for! We have ordered several celebration cakes from them and each one is always as amazing as the last! We’ve kind of eaten our fair share of cakes from them this past year, lol, no regrets!! I highly recommend this shop!
