Tried their Potato Bagel today, which is a take on the crown heights classic invented at Holesome on Kingston. Their portion size is generous and the potatoes are well seasoned, very good bagel as well. It was $6.50 on uber eats.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid, and it was my favorite. But in the last 5 years (the food and) the service just went down the train. MULTIPLE messed up orders, happening more and more often, and totally not taking accountability, the cashier and the manager.The $2 you saved by not fixing my order made you lose a customer. I gave you enough chances.

Came here on a weekday. Prices are pricey (just like any other place in Crown Heights), but I was very suprised by the huge portions. I ordered the Israel Spiced Sandwich, & I highly recommend. Super delicious, I would order again.

To be clear, I’m ONLY judging/reviewing the bagels……..I’ve been many times. I really wanted to love this place, but sadly the bagels aren’t great. They’re small, and quite tough texturally in my experiences coming here. On Sundays the bagels are particularly poor quality, extremely hard and tough, and again, undersized. I’m guessing whoever is making the bagels is under-proofing them, and it really shows. Bagels should be crusty and chewy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. These bagels don’t cut it. There’s a woman who works behind the counter quite often, she’s kind of cold and curt and it’s not welcoming. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
