★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Del Sur is amazing! They make beautiful, delicious, and creative pastries and drinks. I am a bit limited on what I have tried as I have to eat gluten free but my friends and family assure me that all of the other choices are wonderful too! I am a huge fan of the ube mo cha latte (love that they use Volition tea) and the bibingka. There is always a wait but it is definitely worth it.Thank you for the delicious treats and nice experiences! I can't wait to visit again!
September 25 · Cherie FrémineSome of the best croissant dough I’ve ever tried! Pastries were a bit too sweet, even the savories one, but their gluten is fire, literally so flaky and soft. Salted pandan matcha was also unique and delish. Please don’t underestimate their croissant!! On the other hand their ube pie had a frosting with a weird aftertaste and texture, not for us. Service was also really good, where despite the long line, the staff checked upon us and offered us tea.
April 02 · Jane TA love letter to pastry and home... You've never seen a box of pastries more beautiful. The best part? Whether you lean towards "the basics" like the pan au chocolat or new standards like the turon danish, you will be deeply satisfied. I waited for 50mins in line on a Thursday but had to go to work before I could actually purchase. Came back the next day at 7:15AM, waited another 50mins and finally got my box. I am tempted to wait another 50mins for a second taste of delicious pasties. It is worth the hype - come early and enjoy your pasties throughout the day. I wish this charming labor of love lots of success! The drink menu is very customizable - in the future, I hope they will have a list of suggested drink pairings (e.g. which syrups might pair with which tea/coffee). I got a Chinese matcha with oat milk and it was perfectly executed - will be back to try their house made syrups.
April 08 · Mariel RancelWent last Sunday and love their pasties! Highly recommend the longanisa Croissant, Pandan Basque Cake, and the Seasonal Hand Pie! Lines aren’t as hectic as when they first opened, but I still suggest getting there early since they do sell out and are only open during the later half of the week. Also no seating area.
August 27 · Megan RiveraWe’d been noticing long lines outside this bakery, so I got curious and did a little digging. Turns out they’re doing some pretty creative things with Filipino flavors. So when we walked by and saw no line, we jumped at the chance to check it out.The staff was cheerful and carefully packaged everything with a level of finesse that made the pastries feel extra special. We started with the Toasted Rice Croissant. The flavor was interesting, but it didn’t quite land for us, it needed a little more texture or complexity to really shine. Then we tried the Pandan Basque Cake, and that was a hit. The creamy top paired beautifully with the thick cookie-like base. It had just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish it was a little bigger.Presentation-wise, these pastries are made to be photographed. I’m definitely planning to go back and try more, especially the Ube Oatmeal Cream Pie. Prices are on the higher side, but hey—beauty doesn’t come cheap.
