Staff is really friendly and helpful. The store looks clean and tidy. They have seating available and to go option. Their menu is full. I ordered 2 The O.G. bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, and 2 coffees, one black one with oat milk. The one with milk was too dark, not enough milk. The sandwich as a whole was not bad. The bagel was mostly crispy, not chewy on the inside. Overall, it's not bad for a quick breakfast or coffee place. I recommend it.

It's really sad how bad this location has become, because the bagels and sandwiches are actually pretty good. Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. They are always pretty slow when busy, which I guess can be expected. Today, I walked into the store with no other customers and waited about 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. All 4 employees who were behind the counter and doing various prep or cleanup tasks completely ignored me, seemingly expecting somebody else to take my order. I finally walked out and headed down Main St. to The Bagel Shop and had no issues. Get your act together, Empire Bagels! There are too many other options in the area to offer this type of service.

Think twice about coming here.Not because of the food or the service, but because the floors are coated with dirt, they have a rodent problem and they don't clean!!! Staff is very nice but the floors behind the counter are filthy and every crack and crevice you look down in that building is atrocious and has snap traps, one even had a dead mouse in it. I've heard their food was great, but takes forever to get. I gave them a try not too long ago after reading some reviews and walked into a mess. The one bagel I had (which took 20 minutes to get, not busy) was not great. For sure not going back.

So this place must be a hit or miss. I'm generally chill...Rock hard bagels after a much longer than quoted wait with no real line, maybe 2 people putting in orders after us.... 10 minutes later vs. 2 that were quoted. >>>Someone could break a fkin tooth. Why would you serve ROCK hard bagels to anyone. Just doesn't make sense.They serve smaller size bagels compared to most bagel shops imo. >> Also ordered nova lox spread and got regular. Epic fail for Empire Bagels.Hard skip folks, you've been told!No tip for these guys....As for cleanliness reviews that say they are bad: definitely sticky floor and sticky tables. Meh, clean the place up and run the operation properly, more efficiently. Friendly staff though I guess.Updated: I did tell the woman what happened, she apologized and said "sorry, I was busy". That's funny because no one was in line, four other people working and five customers seated. That comment just added fuel to the fire.... Unacceptable... She did offer to comp the 2 rock hard bagels with no nova spread as she knew... We left...

Excellent breakfast food. I was happy we beat the crowd on a Saturday morning. My BEC on an everything bagel was delicious. It is a much nicer place than the outside strip mall exterior would lead you to believe.
