It is important for consumers to acknowledge that the quality and condition of perishable goods, such as baked products, can fluctuate across any food service establishment. Past customer feedback, while not necessarily representative of current operating standards, has occasionally noted concerns regarding the perceived freshness of certain cake and pastry items, with one review mentioning a cake feeling dry
and another citing an issue with a blueberry muffin
. Similarly, another customer reported dissatisfaction with the simple small paper bag
packaging used for slices of cake. As a consumer in the California food market, these elements underscore the value of engaging directly with the business, particularly for custom or large orders, and verifying the current operational status and food handling practices to ensure they align with personal expectations for freshness and packaging quality before purchase.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The cakes all look so good. Looks so yummy but when I eat I can feel that they are not fresh at all. The cake was really dry and i assume they have made and put in a fridge for a long time. Definitely not made today. The packaging is not a box. I bought two slices of cake. They were put in a small paper bag next to each other. What I would recommend is to change the packaging.
August 19 · Panwad T.I stopped in to grab something to hold me over, bought what LOOKED like a marvelous blueberry muffin. Tasted…fine. But then more than halfway through, I took a bite that I instantly knew was a moldy blueberry thrown into the mix. Looked at it to see if there were any more and to my horror…TEENY WORMS/LARVAE of some sort!! Never ever ever again.
June 27 · Amanda DarusWe enjoyed the strawberry cake we purchased here for my wife's birthday. It was very light and not very sweet, a bit different than the typical American style, but good. The price at $25 was fair for the size and quality. My only criticism was that the fruit on top was pretty heavy and weighed down the cake.
November 28 · Torin RudeenWent to support local business. Nothing was really good. Some were stale. I would not go here again even if the food was cheap. And it's pretty expensive.
August 21 · Saadia QaziThis seems to be the only Chinese bakery in the neighborhood. However, other than that the staff is Chinese, the pastries themselves don’t seem very authentically Chinese. Size of the pastries are double that of the ones found in average Chinese bakeries. Also, the buns are too dry. Macarons, though, are pretty good.Make sure to bring cash when buying anything under $25.
